Heres my situation: I've been behind on a Best Buy (HSBC) debt for a few months now. It went into collections, I moved and stopped receiving any kind of collection letters, etc. Fast forward I moved back home. Received a letter from a Court Summons from a law firm handling the collection of said account. The 30 days passed, never received any other "court" papers..its been close to 2.5 months since initially receiving said "court" papers. For the past 2 weeks I have been trying to track down who is handling the account.

Just got a call from a company by this name, they say. Telling me that if I did not pay them or give them my lawyers name that they would pick my up tomorrow at 11am. First off, I do not have any PDL's nor have I for over a year. Second, I googled the name and it is a marketing company so I called them and let them know that this group was using their name in this way. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. I also found on complaintsboard.com that others have been contacted. This is such a scam and it makes me really mad! Anyone else effected?

Does anyone know who the heck this number is? I have had several calls from them, but they leave NO information except that I need to call them immediatley! Today they called my boss! Not real happy about that, so wanting to try go find out who they are so that I can request they quite calling!

I recently pulled my credit report and noticed all this different credit information. Creditors and Collection Agencies who hold the account. When I pulled the report it gave me a summary of address and contact info - which was really great but it doesn't list the actual account number. It's says "Acct #: XXXXXXXXX5006" How do I go about getting the acct # to include in my DV letter? Can I send the letter with the acct number like that and they look it up?

Is there any good reason for this? They're offering me a good settlement and I don't want to quibble about the form of payment but I'm apprehensive about giving out checking accct (even cc acct) info.

I had a loan out with Sandpoint Capital...after working with the moderators and members here and drafting up a recovation letter, this was the response I received! Hello Jason, We did not receive the fax, so I am glad that you emailed the document as well. I will let you know that if you review the documents that are sent to you at the time of your approval, it states on your loan note and disclosure that the laws of Nevis are the laws that govern this loan and that is what is agreed upon when the loan is approved.

If anyone has an idea of how I can get these payday loans gone. I currently pay close to $800 a month just to keep them until the next two weeks. I have listed them below. Any assistance where I could consolidate or get a lower payment loan (which I can afford easily) please advise...I never thought I would get sucked into these things and am embarrassed I did!!! I have 4 payday loans: Eastside Lenders - $390.00 CashnetUSA - -$570.00 USFastCash - $400 1800899cash - $620.71 I plan to cancel my bank accout today and open a new one the same day and make sure that nothing else can go through after it closes. I will call each lender myself and inform them that I have been laid off and need to be setup on a payment plan and that I have canceled my bank account and will be moving. I don't mind paying the loans as the are with the fee's as I knew what I was getting into, but need the interest to stop now.

I try to do some research only thing I can find was on there website they the suppose to be located in nixa MO according to the Utah department of financial certficate it's expire 05/01/08-04/30/09 she gave me there physcial number 775-284-7743 that were they call her from ... this is NV number not even closed to Utah.

Has any one heard of them or of filing a claim on a PDL provider with them? I was looking at some papers on my loan with 500FastCash and there is a clause in there stating I would not take "legal" action against them, but instead would go through this forum. Filed a complaint against them with the BBB. It was like an automated response both on my complaint and on my refusal and rebuttal - same reply from them both times - get this one "We recognize this complaint as a response to a template of a form letter circulating the Internet.
