I have done everything advised on this forum and as of today 3 are gone Cash direct express caved first, then Payday max and discount advances. 3 more to go any suggestions on the last three?

Ok I've read they're illegal in PA. I took one out before knowing this, I was desperate and needed the money badly. Now, 4 months later after they've taken more than the loan amount and I closed my checking account, they are contacting me on my cell day in and day out. I got a call from a Damiano and Associates from New Jersey for some reason, with no explanation, and am assuming its because of this. I contacted one of these free lawyers that takes care of these things and wrote to him today. On United's site they say my Payoff Amount is $600.

CMI is coming after my husband for a Comcast Cable account and we sent a DV letter to them. Well, we got a response back but instead of validating the debt, it said "we are verifying the account with the original creditor." This IS NOT validation, is it? I thought validation entailed us receiving more information than this. Thanks for the info!

Hi, I emailed my employer regarding revoking a wage assignment that I may be receiving from two unlicensed PDL lenders online (Sandpoint Capital and Ace Cash Services). They said there is nothing they can do accept to notify me if they receive a garnishment order, and they have to honor it from the companies because they don't want to get involved (not that I blame them or anything...) My question is: 1) Can illegal lenders garnish your wages? 2) if so, what steps can I take to prevent this?
