I am just starting to work on my credit report. I know items are supposed to fall off after 7 years. I have some items that were originally reported in 2002. So, they should be falling off. However, I notice the creditor reported again in 2/2009 so this keeps the negative file going. Is there any way to stop this?? It shows original date was 2002 but can I do anything to stop the reporting?

I haven't been on here much lately but am starting to receive "unknown" calls again. They are calling about twice per hour. Today has been the worst. There have been 17 unknown calls today. I have not picked them up at all but my daughter picked one up when I was not here. She said when she said hello, it started ringing on the other end and thensomeone answered and it sounded like a call center. They asked for me and when I was not here, they asked how to get in touch with me. She, of course, did not give them any information.

Hi, I've been seeing many peices of info on here that say that Ace Cash Services is legal...but others (ie. Moderators w/ experience) are saying that this company is illegal. I took a PDL out with them online and I live in CA. What's up w/ this company??

Since january I have been fighting to remove an entry for about 114$ debt listed on my file by Enhanced Recovery in Florida. After six unreplied debt validation CMRR lettters to them,the credit bureaus tried to get in touch with them and failed so the entry was removed from both EX and EQ in July. Yesterday I received a big yellow envelope with the address of the sender but not the name in the corner. Inside there were printouts of my bank acount with Bank of america for a few months and they showed that at some point I did owe them that amount.

The Minnesota AG is asking for an address to Ashland Enterprises/Crestwood Marketing. They can't send a letter without it. Thanks so much.

I have gotten a couple of calls from this number today. The caller ID just says Call Center. Does anyone know who this is? I have tried Googling it and it comes up as Omni Investments and a couple of other things. How can it come up as more than one place??

Help! I am in SC. I have four loans. Check N Go $600. Chextop $300. Carolina Pay Day $300 and Check into Cash $300. They are all storefront places. I closed my checking account yesterday. I am unable to continue making the payments. Are these places all licensed? What do I do next? Write a letter stating I want to communicate e-mail and mail and not to phone me, work and references?
