Creditors Financial Group "taking action"

16 years 7 months ago
I received a phone call from Creditors Financial group on 9/11 from someone identifying herself as Ms. Leitner and it was important that I return her call at 877-298-2251. I was away for the weekend and listened to the message late Monday night. I called first thing Tuesday morning to see who called and she stated that she was from CFG and was trying to collect on a Orchard bank card. I told her that I have never had a card from Orchard so she said they were also known as HSBC.

Leins on Property

My account with Capitol One is in collections with MRS still within Cap.One yet. They set me up on a plan for $430 a mth for the next 4 months to get my debt out of collections and back to my monthly payment before I got into this mess. What if I choose not to pay this and start saving to do a settlement with them, How long will they wait and how likely is it to place a lein on our house??? Do they often do this?

Am I in over my head?

16 years 7 months ago
Hi, I've been trying to read as many of the forums as possible. I apologize in advance if I have missed a past thread. I have about $50K in cc bills . I am just about to reach 60 days with most of these cards but have not cancelled them. I have been in contact with them after avoiding the 1st month of calls. Now they call every three to five days. Questions: [LIST=1]
  • Is it ok to mention to them that I would like to settle and when?

    Did I win?

Its now been more than a week since I began posting here about one PDL company that was harassing me after I went through a third-party debt negotiator. I sent the email out last Monday, and later that day I received a phone call from the lender, and once they verified my identity she apologized for calling and hung up the phone. Today I called the company handling this and they said they have contacted but not heard from any of my three PDLs. This entire week I've not got one call about them either.

"Bank on Evansville" program goes statewide in Indiana

    16 years 7 months ago
If you live in Indiana and you're on Chexsystems your chances of getting an account at a local bank just got a lot better. For help getting an account call the United Way at 211 in most cities. [INDENT]Bank on Evansville, a public-private partnership created to develop affordable and accessible banking solutions and financial education for low-to-moderate income residents, is going statewide. The Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority Board has approved funding for Bank on Indiana, which will begin in October.
