I applied for a payday loan online and got approved. I checked my account to find out that National Payday loan had taken out $300 out of my account. I live in Illnois now. I stayed in Mississippi in 2005, anyway, when I called the number to National Payday, I asked them why did they take money out of my account, he then told me that I had an outstanding loan with them that I owedfrom 2005. I don't recall every having a loan with them. When I told him that he gave me the routing number and account number for the account where he claims the money was deposited, it wasn't my old account. .

Anyone have any dealings with this company, they just got my Advanta account after I sent Advanced Call Center a DV letter. I guess they will send it to someone else after I send NCB a DV letter. Any info will be appreciated.

I had a collection agency called Pro Debt mediations call my parents home, I have been married for over thirty years and haven't used my maiden name since then. Someone named Eric Holt told my father they needed me to contact them by five o'clock today in order to get a statement from me. My father became very upset and the person who called him told him it was very, very important. I got home and my father had come over to tell me what the message was and I needed to call right away.

Hi all, I am kind of new to this forum so please be nice :) I am in the process of cleaning up my credit and for the life of me, I don't understand the credit reports. EX shows my accounts (active and Closed) using all but the last 4 digits of the acct. number and TU does the same. EQ uses nothing but the last 4 of the account number and it has different information than the other 2. Or the acct. numbers are something like that. I understand that you need to check your reports but it doesn't really help me if I don't understand what I am looking at.

I have payday loans at cash jar, discount advances, one click cash, and Ameriloan. Do you all know if any of these loans post to the credit bureau. I know they are not legal in NC but has anyone else in nc had any prior dealings with them. I had posted somewhere else but just found out how to do a new thread. I am placing stop payments on the ach drafts and have my direct deposit changed to another bank starting in Oct.

I pulled my credit report and noticed there is an entry from them. I had not received any type of notification from them prior to them placing it on my credit report back in June. I called and spoke with a debt lawyer through my employers Employee Assistance Program and told him that I was working on cleaning up my credit as I was now working and start contacting my creditors to setup payments with them. I explained that I had already paided off one collection agency and was working on Leading Edge but that there was the addition of LVNV but they hadn't contacted me in any way.

I am in payday loan hell and have been using some advise from this site. I have already closed my checking account to avoid more debits. I sent letters to the online lenders that I think may be illegal but of course they are already telling me that they are legal and I signed the loan documents so I am obligated to pay in full.

I just didn't want to post on someone elses issue. I have a PDL with Eastside for $300 - that I overpaid ($425). So, I already closed my account, sent out the ACH revokation letter, asked them for the name and license # to operate in my state legally (PA), asked them to stop calling me at work and only use my personal email address. THey have stopped calling (for now) - but are still insisting that I owe them $525. Said they won't issue a PIF or refund my $ as I haven't paid it off yet. Do I keep battling them via email or just ignore?

Hi All- First let me say this forum has been a blessing. Since I joined here and started the get out payday loan cycle- my life has been better. I'm actually sleeping and eating again. And smiling-YAH! Some of my loans have already been kicked over to bottomfeeder Collection companies. I am starting the process of sending out DV letter and my question is this- what exactly will they be able to send me that acts as validation. There were all illegal internet loans so can anyone tell me what an acceptable validation would be? If they are illegal, is there anything that would stand up in court?
