Can anyone confirm whether or not they are licensed to do business in Delaware? I cannot find anything on them, but one poster said they were legal. I need this info ASAP because I will be fighting them. Thanks. :confused:

My husband and I each have our own credit card plus one joint credit card. Is debt management available for couples, or just individuals? I'd like the interest rates lowered and payments condensed into 1 monthly payment for all 3 cards. Thanks.

Hi, I received a loan from Pay Check today back in May in the amount of 300.00, I ended up paying 420.00 for it. I live in the state of Maine. I found on this site (thank you) that this PD lender is not licensed to practice in my state, I sent them all the suggested letters, via email, and certified mail. ( I do have my receipt). I also closed my checking account thanks to your good advice. I also requested a refund of the amount I overpaid, but as you can imagine, I have not heard from them since. I am now being contacted by Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) of Florida.

is there a cost to this debt management?

Back in January my husband and I were trying to get preapproved for a mortgage in order to buy our first house. My husband's defaulted student loan prevented us from doing that and after many difficult phone calls with the DCS collection agency we entered into a 9 month rehab program. A few days ago we got confirmation from DCS and American Student Assistance that we were done with our rehab program and were eligible for his loan to be bought back by a lender.

I live in Wi closed my bank account opened a new one got letters out to United Cash, US Fast Cash, CMG Group, Magnum...no E-mails have been returned no response so far. Is this normal? Will they wait til payday and then get backk? I am so ashamed of myself for getting into this mess. I feel like a big nothing. Thank you for all the support.

I got myself into trouble with 4 payday loans that are now in default. I've had some financial trouble lately because of an accident and being off of work. They are now harassing me at work. I ended up closing my checking account because several of the lenders would try to debit my account on all different days of the week (not every 2 weeks on payday as agreed), and for different amounts. I live in Wisconsin.
