Hello everyone, I have been receiving many phone calls from this a company called "Financial Independence & Resource Education" also known as F.I.R.E. has anyone heard of this company? I have been reading a many negative comments from this company.

I settled with Chase last friday for $864 lump sum out of $2200. I am waiting for the settlement letter before i wire the money on friday. Its my first settlement so i dont know if i handle it well coz she said it will show settled less than full balance. Is that normal? I cant let her change the wording to paid in full because she said thats not the truth. ANy opinions? In my next settlement, what should i negotiate to reflect in my credit report? Thanks everyone

Where is this managed at? The date stamps show yesterday or very early am. I just wondered if it was US web site or where???

Does anyone know the address? They emailed me their change of phone number, but won't provide a physical address.

I want to proceed with bk. But, my family has given me money over the last 3 months to survive. I have paid a little of it back. Will this affect my bk? If they give me money is that income? They just gave me some money yesterday.... I'm worrried that I will no longer qualify for chapter 7 because of it. Thanks

I have been working with my amazing bank manager to get my account frozen and closed and open a new one~ I am expecting insanity to insue on friday when my scheduled payments will attempt to pull~ Can i send C and D letters before hand?

I have been searching for months to find a Company to help settle my debt, but I trust none of them any one no of a Co. that will not take the money and do nothing.... I also was wondering about HSBC a repo, I cosinged with my son back in April the bikes were sold and a balance of 8500 is left. Can i fight this and not pay it, who are they going to go after him or me???

I posted an item on the US e-bay site, I am a new seller, the item sold to the only bidder and she is in Australia, I posted my wedding rings in an effort to pay for car repairs as the transmission on our car went out. After informing my husband of what i had done he insisted I do not sell them and i feel bad about both ends of this...I contacted the buyer and informed her of my situation and refunded her monies as soon as I received them. Now she is angry and does not want the refund but demands the rings which were sold to her on the US ebay website which indicated ships to US only.

We are still in the beginning stages of DIY settlement. Our account with GE will be about 90 days past due this month. They called and we told them we could not pay. They told us to send in a payment so they could see if we would qualify for one of their hardship programs, otherwise the account would go to collections.
