I had a loan with Peppercash.com and received a deposit of $800 on 12/31/2011, and had 4 bi-weekly withdrawals of $200 and 1 bi-weekly withdrawal of $50 debited from my account. This resulted in an overpayment of $50. I live in Arizona and in April 2012 I sent Peppercash an ACH revocation letter and closed my bank account.

Here is their response: -Please refer to your copy of the Loan Agreement - the loan was not funded from, nor are we located in, the State of Maryland. Under the terms of the Agreement you agreed to make payments by ACH until the loan balance was satisfied in full, in accordance with that contract. If necessary, we will make all reasonable attempts to make contact with you to organize and obtain payment of all amounts due and payable to enable the loan agreement to be satisfied, as per the original terms.

I am in desperate need of getting out of the payday loan cycle. They just keep adding up. I'm not sure if all these are legal and hope someone can help. I have paid $558 so far, with about $60 of that going towards principle. They sent me an email saying they want $921. I have their address to send pymts to.

I've recently sued this law firm for 2 violations under the FDCPA. My question is I just recently filed suit in small claims & received a notice stating that a mediation will be scheduled first.
