what are the repocussions of debt consolidation

Hello, I contacted QXL Online about my account, using the suggested lender letter. Here is their response: -Please refer to your copy of the Loan Agreement - the loan was not funded from, nor are we located in, the State of Maryland. Under the terms of the Agreement you agreed to make payments by ACH until the loan balance was satisfied in full, in accordance with that contract. If necessary, we will make all reasonable attempts to make contact with you to organize and obtain payment of all amounts due and payable to enable the loan agreement to be satisfied, as per the original terms.

I am in desperate need of getting out of the payday loan cycle. They just keep adding up. I'm not sure if all these are legal and hope someone can help. I have read the steps of dealing with unlicensed payday lenders and starting to follow that process. I live in Illinois for the payday loans I have listed below. Star Group- $500 paid $947.50 My Next Paycheck- $500 paid $885 White Hills- $405 paid $739 Mobil Loans- $500 paid $100 Hydra Fund- $300 paid $480 St. Armands- $300 paid $180 The amounts I have paid are to date and have not eliminated any principal off the original loans.

As a doctor's office can we bill the patient for further visits after they file bankruptcy?

After reading many posts on this, I understand the strategy. But a bit confused on the second punch... What type of letter are you suppose to send to the Credit Bureaus when you receive the green card back? tks!

I just found this forum today and you guys are a blessing! Can someone look at what I have going on and give a little advice? I live in Ardmore,OK and have 2 payday loans. I closed my checking acct last week, so I could try and get a handle on this stuff. One is with VIP Cash (Qloot) with an original amount of $600. I have paid $558 so far, with about $60 of that going towards principle. They sent me an email saying they want $921. I have their address to send pymts to.

I've recently sued this law firm for 2 violations under the FDCPA. My question is I just recently filed suit in small claims & received a notice stating that a mediation will be scheduled first. I've read a few different things on-line that I should try getting them to settle before court. Does anyone have an opinion on this?

Ok, I have read multiple posts on how people have written letters and received pif letters right away.

" You expressly acknowledged and consented to be governed exclusively by New Zealand law when you signed your loan agreement." If I did consent to this when I signed, what can they do if they are not licensed in my state?

I am trying to figure out if CK Marketing and Ashland Funding are the same company. NCS a very rude "debt collection" agency is calling in regards to this. I have paid off Ashland and I want to make sure CK Marketing is a seperate payday loan company.
