Would someone be able to help me? I have 6 payday loans--2 storefront and 4 online, and I have fallen behind on other bills because of them. I don't know which ones are illegal--how can I find that out? I really appreciate your help, I've read the posts here and feel hopeful.

does anyone know for sure the sol for lawsuit on charge cards in the state of ohio? What about auto leases? I've checked the orc and this area is a little bleak...it give time line for certain things but nothing concrete for charge cards..Do leases fall under ucc? thank you....

I took out a loan with the PDL Loan Center. It was for $455. I defaulted on the loan and began to set up a payment arrangement. I then received an email from PDL Ventures saying that they were going to take $72 from my account tomorrow. I placed a stop payment on it, becuase this wasn't what we agreed to on the phone. I tried calling the number in the email -- no answer. I tried calling the number I had originally used to set up the payment plan -- disconnected. I saw then that someone had said the company was connected to Impact Cash and tried that number.

Any advice. I sent out a C & D to Eastside and included in the letter was the revocation to stop ACH debits and wage assignments, if one was signed. This notification was sent out a week ago and I saved a copy of the fax confirmation showing that this fax was successfully sent. Today I received 2 phone calls from them (answered the first call saying that I didn't work at my place of employment any longer, in hopes of stopping the calls there) allowed the call to my cell phone to go to voicemail.

Hi, I had 3 charges on my credit report that I wasnt sure were accurate. They were from years ago - and i believe atleast 2 were being double counted but I wasnt sure if they were legit. I took the step of disputing with the all 3 CA's with the explanation that I didnt recognize them and think they belonged to me but now I'm worried that I should have taken the steps of writing a debt validation letter to each instead.

I just talked to an associate that adviced me to get out of the program if I think I could get better rates by calling the creditors myself Isn't that want I am paying you for???
