I am curious as to the whether or not judgments, liens and garnishments will appear on my credit report. I remember at my trial as a defendant against a JDB collection agency, the judge asking the plaintiff if they report to the credit bureaus and the plaintiff said no. I received interrogatores from the plaintiff, ordered and approved by the court that ask for my bank account information. Can I close my bank account so as not to have to produce that information in the interrogatories? The account has been dormant with no activity for many months.

I'm making a new blog and I need help with a name. My blog is about me getting out of debt partly by making money online. I already have a blog that's similar that I keep track of the sites I make money with but this new blog will be a little different. What would be a good name that has to do with keeping track of snd paying down debt? If I pick your idea you can put up a banner or link on my blog for the next month.

I get these endless calls from creditors who are always telling me what I need to do. I'd like to buy a used pick-up truck for under $4,000, with $500 down, financed 12-18 months. My gross income is about $58K per year. I have no other car or personal loans, but my credit is poor. The worst is in the past: Bankruptcy 10 yrs ago, car problems including slow pay, charge off & repo 7 years ago. Current negative marks are all med bills my ex is to help pay, but does not. I recently just got a copy of my credit report. It is not good. During the last nine years I have gone through a divorce and two bouts of cancer so lots of late payments. I have several items that show as collections. Some of them date back to 2002 but they reported again in 2/09. I understand things should come off after 7 years but what happens when they report again 7 years later? Does it start the SOL all over again? I was hoping I could get some relief from these things this year since it had been 7 years but it does not look like that is happening.

My wife took out 4 small internet payday loans w/o my knowledge for around $200 each. After looking at her bank statement (which my name is also on) and seeing her whole paycheck was going to fees, intrest and overdraft fees we closed the bank account because we are being totaly wiped out. We live in New York and the laws here seem to be kind of vague. I'm sure she will begin to get phone calls at work soon, collection calls, etc.

I had rented car using free days at National. While I returned car I found scratch on the left drive side bumper. Guys looked at it while returned and said it is not an issue. A month later I got bill of $700 so I claimed to credit card and they denied it based on free days. I got call from collection agency after 4 months now. What I need to do ? Any advise , appreciated.
