Hi guys, thanks to this forum I have been very successful in ending my journey through payday hell! I'm pleased to say that less than a week after sending out my C & D letters via email, I have rec'd two PIF letters!! One from Avantis Financial, and the other from Impact Cash USA. (You can read my stories in the success stories thread). Anyway, I'm curious about the companies owned by Native American tribes. I've heard that they do not have to abide by any state laws or regulations. I live in Florida...so, would they have a case in court against me?

Hello- I live in California. I recently got a PDL through Zip 19. I have had a few through them, I defaulted once, but was able to promptly pay through Western Union. Anyways, I lost my job this week so the payment they were going to process was denied by the bank. I recieved the e-mail letter from Zip 19 that they payment didn't go through and my new balance including the additional fees they added on for the payment being denied. I know that in California, they can only charge me a total of $300, so this is what I intend to pay (I loaned $400), With all fees I know owe them over $530.

Does anyone have a current email address for payday one? I need to send them a letter to revoke ach.

MCM has been calling a relative of mine several times A DAY saying that I gave out that number! I have never given out any number to MCM or the client they are representing. I don't have a landline phone. Are they just looking in the phone book and seeing the last name (I live in a small town and my last name is uncommon there) and assuming they are a relative?

Got a loan on 07/08/2009 ACH Credit PDLLoanCenterLMS PayDay for 300 is what is debt from my account. email i got was PDL Ventures. the link they had was for loanmgtservices. com / idk if that helps. They gave me a serivce number to call 1-866-631-8201 to pay the loan off been trying to call now for 5 days to pay the loan off. Notthing has came out of my account i think they start debting it from my account on 7/24/2009. at 90 each time. Is this companie legal in Indiana. Is there anyway to get ahold of them to get this payed off to get this out of my hair?

Has anyone had any dealing with them? I a am considering their services but are afraid to take the chance. I desparately need help!

Is it the SOL different if a credit card or not? Does the SOL go by the state where it started or where you are at now? About 90% of the items on my credit report will automatically fall off in 2010 per the credit report I have (I have all 3). All three say the same thing in aspect to when certain accounts will end. Example: ***This Account is scheduled to continue on record until April 2010 OK so …one account that I have does not have that…but it says: Opened in April 2002 Reported since April 2002 Date of Status Jul 2004 Last Reported Jul 2004 So what does this mean.

Ok, I got a call Monday at work from a guy who claimed to be with NRC and he stated something about a settlement and a discrepancy. I explained that I was at work and that he needed to call me or I could return his call when I was off. He said to call him but that they would be leaving by 5pm their time (Eastern). I explained that I don't even get home until after 4pm my time (Pacific) but he didn't care.

Does anyone have any good, or bad stories regarding Fifth Third Bank? Has anyone been able to open an account and later on down the road, its been closed due to a Chexsystems report?

They have sent me a letter saying that I owe them money for a debt to US Bank. I have never before received anything from US Bank or this company saying I owe anything, and now they're threatening to sue me within 14 days. I was thinking about writing a debt validation letter, but the account they are claiming I owe them for isn't on my credit report at all. What should I do? Any thoughts or suggestions?
