Anyone deal with Goldman Roth Acquisitions

16 years 10 months ago
Webpayday sent my loan to them. They are threatening a lawsuit. I borrowed $700 and paid back $125. I have been trying to work out payment arrangements with webpayday but they never e-mail me back. Does anyone know anything about Goldman Roth Acquisitions? Can they sue me? Should I make payment arrangements with them if they will work with me or should I require everything in writing? They said if I request documentation, that will begin the lawsuit process. Please help!!!!!

Wrong BK Filing

16 years 10 months ago
Hello, had a quick question. I had delcared bankruptcy and my 60 day wait period is up on july 27, 2009. My dad had the same name as me but with a different middle intial. He has a mortage loan with citi financial. I had a credit card with citi bank. When he talked with citi finacial they said that he had declared bk on the mortage. Which he did not, I did on the one credit card I had with them. They asked for a letter from the lawyer proving that it was me and not my dad. My lawyer sent over a letter and they got it.

Does this sound legit? Is this guy using scare tactics??

16 years 10 months ago
2 days ago I had a message on my answering machine. The guy identified himself as Michael Landon. He was looking for me and also gave my father's name, asked me to return his call by 4:30 that day. He said it was in reference to a small business credit card. I was confused because my father owns a small business and had a line of credit with his bank, but I have nothing to do with it. So... I call him back to find out what this is about. He tells me he works with collections and is collecting on behalf of the bank my Dad used to use.

3 OH Storefront loans, 1 Internet Loan in PA

16 years 10 months ago
Hello, I just found this site today and have been wading through all of the useful information. I was visiting my parents last night and I came across some documents in my brother's room showing that he had several payday loans. He was really embarrassed about it and has been very hesitant to talk to me, but I want to help him figure out if there's anything that he can do. I don't have all of the specific information yet, but I wanted to lay out what I know to figure out where we should go from here. I know that he has four pd loans, 3 from storefronts in Ohio and one from the Internet.

PDL help

16 years 10 months ago
I live in ohio. I have 2 PDL's. One is through Integrity advance. The loan was for $500 and I have pd them over $700 which they state is refinancing. The other is thru Big limited. The loan was $200 and I have paid them over $1200. Ibig was told they would contact me 3 days prior to the due date to see how I wanted to pay. They never called and this is the first I have been able to contact them. I feel like I don't owe them a thing but I don't know what to do. I do not want to keep paying or possibly have legal problems because of this. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Just settled with CHASE for 32%!

16 years 10 months ago
After not making payments since Dec 08, I called Chase and offered to settle the account for 30% after about 30 seconds on hold they countered with $3500 or 32.8%. Needless to say this is a big weight off my shoulders, and I'm happy I came across this forum. I little research saved me thousands. I'm glad to say Im back on track with my financial obligations.
