can a debt collector do a hard pull of my credit report for an account that my husband owns? the cc in question, i am not an authorized user...i understand permissible purpose i think:) but can they look at my credit for his bussiness charge card???? thank you..

Has anyone had any luck at temp agencies? I was thinking of going to a few and checking it out--that way I can tell them the hours I'm available for and work it around my full-time job... Just wondering if temp agencies are being flooded with laid off job seekers

Hi, I posted on this forum before with some general questions about Cap One and Blitt and Gaines. We can't afford an atty so are drafting our own answer, sworn statement of graduated denial, affirmative defenses, etc. The complaint (dated 6/18/09) is rather simple: 1) We utilized a charge acct issued by Plaintiff (Cap1) or assignors. (we did) 2) We defaulted by not paying the debt resulting in a balance of $2164.

I have gotten myself into alot of trouble with PDL's. I live in NC and I have 3 outstanding loans. One with NationalPayday loan for 260.00 one with One click cash for 300.00 and one with Kenwood Services.for 260.00 I am severly overdrawn in my checking account because of this and the bank has closed my account. They have tried to take out the loan fees but my back keep sending them back. I cant get out of debt. I need some help. Anyone have any info that can help me. In NC PDL's are not allowed we dont have centers etc. What can I do? Any help would be great.

can I change my debt consolidators ?

I am sure my story is not uncommon. I have been irresponsible with my money and debt load. I have gotten myself into deep debt through rampant consumerism and underemployment (my husbands - not mine). So here we sit - able to make the minimum payments, and trying hard to not use our cards. But being cash strapped something always comes up and we add to our load. I won't bore you with the details but between being poor money managers and the usual strife of life I have found it very easy to ignore my own finacial peril. But I am ready to do what I need to do now.

I just called Cap one and BOA and both asked if I could pay because I am a few months late. I said I could not make a payment at this time. They both said OK give us a call if you can make a payment. No pressure, neither rep could care less and could not end the call fast enough. I was all prepared to go thru the ringer and nothing. The reason I called BOA was the C1 rep did not seem interested. It was like they were reading the same script. I am not sure if it is a new strategy on there part.

I had a pdl with hotpayday two years ago. It was for $600. I was paid monthly and set up my replayment for monthly, I work from home. Anyway they were takin the money like they ere suppiseed to, sometimes just the fee, which hurt, sometimes I paid moe and the fee. I ended up getting 3 different loans with them that were all paid off. My fourth loan I paid 450 on towards the loan balance and fees.

Hello, I'm a brand new member and just spoke with a very nice woman from GHS Solutions about Debt Settlement. WOW! First of all, I didn't realize that I had to let my CC's go to collections. I'm nervous about letting multiple credit cards go unpaid for 120 days.
