[color=Blue][/color] hello, im a newbie to this site and need help or advice desperately. several years ago i became disabled from a stroke and back surgery. i tried working again to pay off some of my credit card debt. i was laid off by phone! i couldnt continue paying this debt. up until then i was in good standing. well anyway i get this call from a woman answering the phone with "attorneys office" so i ask what the issue is. its this credit card. after speaking to a gentleman who asks if we want to seetle this debt we say absolutely then connects me with 3 other people.

Has anyone been successful in dealing with the mortgage lender(s) to get approval for a short sale, WITHOUT providing them with income verification, monthly budget, tax returns, and bank statements? Seems to me that this stuff shouldn't be necessary, but I can't get Wells Fargo to budge at all on this.

I'm closing my bank account today. I have payments that are to come out tomorrow for my PDL's. I have a new account already opened. What are the chances that these illegal PDL companies will find my new account?

I am disputing 2 rental agreements with one agency that is on my credit file as a collection, using this forum I wrote to the collection agency using certified mail and asked then to provide me with the following. Agreement with your client that authorizes you to collect on this alleged debt. Agreement that bears signature of the alleged debtor wherein he promises to pay the creditor. Complete payment history on this account so as to prove that the debt amount you wish to collect is correct. I have PDL's in Illinois that I was trying to consolidate. I was web searching and found this web site. I had 200.00 put in my checking account that I never approved and the phone calls and text messages are never ending. What can I do? I checked on the Consumer Credit List of Licensees for Illinois and not of the pay day loan companies that I have pay day loans from and licensed to loan in the state of Illinois.

Some of you may remember me talking about letting our car go back. After agonizing about this for quite some time we decided to let the car go. Then the fuel pump went out and we could not afford to fix the car let alone make the payments. I put the car under storage insurance with a big deductible. Then we had a storm come through here that broke the back window out of the car. I can not afford to replace the window either. The hits just keep coming! My husband called Americredit and was honest with them and he told them about the damage. He also told them we could no longer afford the car.

HEy everyone, I am with Town and country acceptance and although my experience with them has been encouraging so far,i was wondering if anybody can calm my nerves. Although i know that they can only work with the money i send them, i am still getting calls from my creditors saying that they have not received my payment. They all say that yes they have an agreement with t+c but they call me asking when they are going to send my payment in. Can they still call me if they have an agreement? Has anybody finished their contract with them?

I know this is a constantly asked question, but I need a good, accurate answer. I understand the job of a debt collector is to, well, collect. By that, they call and write and harass the hell out of you until they get what they want. I understand they could care less about your personal life or anything else, but I am in Nashville, TN, and its 2:00 AM, and I swear a debt collector tried calling me like an hour ago. They call me before I wake up, while I'm sleeping, while I'm working, when I'm at church, I could be at a funeral, and I bet I couldn't set through it without them calling.
