Hello-- I had a loan with Mobiloans this past summer, and paid it back plus a bit of interest. It was less than $1000. I had 3 payday loans and stopped paying them once I read about things here and sent out letters (thank you - they were copied from here) stating that payday loans are illegal in NY, I have paid back the principal, cease using my bank (I changed it) - and 2 got back to me and made a very reasonable offer to officially make them go away.

I am trying to find out is Western Sky is illegal? I took a loan out with them and as soon as I did Cash Call took it over. I live in the state of TN and what struck me odd was the fact that if I go to Cash Call's like I was going to apply, it says they do not do loans on my state so I am confused. I have managed to get out from under twin bluffs, Mobiloans, plain Green, Great Plains, net PDL. Now I am left with Western Sky/cash call and HuskHawk.

My friend borrowed 10000 from western sky and he cant pay it all back. they are threatening wage garnishment, sueing, credit reporting and a whole donkey show of things, what can he do about this? the interest has already caused the amount to tripple

I have three pdl with GRENTERPRISES, VIP CASH #4, WTJ CAPITAL LLC and live in Fl. The loans all are for 300 with a 90.31 renew fee and have been paying these since 7/12 every two weeks.
