lol Well heck, I know I want to know!! I know that I'm not Miss America, and God knows I'm not a "girlie girl". I am just plain ol' me, a tom boyish kinda female. I take stuff apart, I don't wait for the guy to fix stuff, if it needs fixed - and I can do it, I attempt it. I get dirty, I like fishing, hunting, and rolling on the ground with my pets. I'm not the picture perfect lady that (in my opinion) most men want! Soooooooo, what is it you guys want, REALLY? Please be serious, please. What catches your eye? High heels, perfume, girlie girls? What is it?

what is the risk? of messing with them?

I received a dunning letter today from Global Credit & Collections. They state that my debt for $5873.00 from Capital One has been placed with them. My account with Capital One is 134 days past due. When I spoke to them on the phone they were only willing to settle for $4900.00. Should I send them a debt validation request even though I am aware that I owe the debt? I live in Virginia, so I understand that they are likely to sue me.

I found this online today & it kind of freaked me out... does anyone know if it is true? Bankruptcy tends to take down with it everything that you own. It comes to a point where you can no longer pay your creditors, and most likely your bank account will be closed. Clearly, it is true that you have more liabilities than assets and therefore you have nothing to operate the account on. I am working with t and c acceptance for multiple payday loans. Cashnet usa did not like the amount they were receiving from t and c and put the debt with Cambridge and huxtably. I spoke with the debt collection agency and they were working with T and C. When cash net had my debt I revoked the right to speak with my references. Now out of the blue Cambridge and Huxtably are calling my family!! What can be done and why are they doing this???

These are online loans. The total debt for cash central is $364.00. I cannot pay this amount until 7/29/2009. They want the amount paid 7/22/2009 and they will not change that payment date for me. I am force to close my account to stop a total of $600 a pay period on all loans.

I have a Chase card, I just stopped paying on. It is only three weeks late now. They have only called once. I would like to settle with them. I will wait it out however many months. The balance is around $24,500 now, and I can do a one lump sum payment of about $30%. has anyone recently settled with Chase?

I recently had a divorce and unfortunately due to my ex closing bank accounts on me and our child (out of spite) the same week divorce was filed - I was forced to use credit cards under my name solely for living expenses, daycare, medical, etc. (Texas) Divorce was finalized in Jan 2009 and judge ruled that 3 credit cards and signature loan was awarded to my ex. Totalling approximately 70K.

Any current information on them? I just received a vm for them.. and not sure if they are collecting on illegal payday loans, or what. I'm keeping pretty good tabs on my credit these days, and I have yet to receive a letter from them. I've already checked w/my state and they aren't license to collect anything (Not according to the website anyway) I've searched but only found posts here and there.. nothing solid. Also searched online but can't find anything their either.

Hello everyone. Just find out thru my credit report on three seperate student loans that I had no clue it even existed. Later confirmed my nephew used my information as a cosigner on Internet loan application. The loan totals around 50K plus 8.5% interest rate, so you can imagine how long it will take to pay off. So, ladies and gents, what are my options? My credit is very crutial and can even impact my work, let alone my life in general. Should not cosigners sign some papers or need to accept the responsibility of what they cosigning?
