Has anybody had any luck negotiating with Capital One for a Business Platinum Card? I have a balance of just over $3,000 on it. I am open to either a settlement or long-term repayment plan. Any thoughts would be very helpful. I think I am getting close to the point they could try to sue.

Hey, does anybody know if I am in a better position to negotiate with a credit card company if they see that I sold my house or will that hurt me because it looks like I should have more funds to pay bills now?

ok i just sent in my dl consolidation papers yesterday..i have a ffel consol w/sm that i have been paying on recently..its not in default or anything like that....why do i have to go one income based repayment plan? how long does it take for doe to consol my loans?

i was sued for a debt and the ca got a default judgement against me 2 years ago..i just got judgement vacated due to ints contradictory to my state laws with the assistance of my attorney general...this was premarital debt of spouses...is there any fair debt collection practices violations here? can they(ca) just sue you as the spouse w/out any paperwork to legally tie me to the debt? Is there a violation in doing do?????

I owe them approximately $2500.00. I wish to settle this but I am hoping for half. Anyone have any luck with them?

I am about to sign up with Destination Deb(something like that) They recommended that I check this site. Has anyone worked with this company. I am so desparate!

any good news about these guys? i just got a call on my caller id and no message and no initial contact yet...I don't have any collections accounts that i know of ..so who do they collect for?? thanks!!!!

Can anyone help with our dliemas here: My husband has several collection accounts on his credit file.. 1. cc collection paid in full reported until 4/2015 2. cc collection account paid after charge off, paid as agreed?, reported until 11/09 3. cc setteld for less than full amount, reported until 10/2011 4. cc Open UNPAID account, reported until 2/2010 5. auto lease jdb, UNPAID reported until 10/2011 6. auto finance co, charge off reproted until 1/2012 7. cc jdb, UNPAID, reported until 1/2010 8. medical paid, reported until 2014 9.

I am in default on my mortgage. I am considering just letting the home foreclose. Can I collect rent, and pocket it, during the few months while they foreclose while I am not paying the mortgage?
