I need addresses for us fast cash and united cash loans so i can file my complaints with the BBB

I just found out that my citcard debt of around $7500, was sold to a local firm called Hunt & Henriquez. They called and left a message wanting to verify that it was my number. Has anyone dealt with H&H or had similar circumstances? I'm hoping to settle for 40% or so as I am currently negotiating with Chase in this range. I had no idea they would sell the debt off to a law firm so soon. How should I proceed with H&H from this point?

Regarding the suggested email letter/template to the payday loan companies that informs them it's illegal and demanding to only pay back principal etc. .... ....I was confused about the "CC". Since I'm writing the BBB and also the NY State Attorney Generals Office and the FTC----that CC isn't filed as an "official" complaint, is it? In other words, I'm just CC'ing them that email? If so... ...When I go online looking for those addresses, I only see a way to file an online complaint, not just a direct address to CC.

I would like to try and settle my debt and save the fees that I can use toward settling. Right now I am current on all debt but struggling to keep up. Wife and I have about 37K of unsecured debt with: 11k Chase 8k 5/3rd 3k Cap One 4k Target 3k Kohls 2.5k Lowes 1.5k Best Buy 2k Chase (Circuit City) 2k Citi I also have about 5k in stock of JP Morgan I have from when I worked there. Was laid off about a year ago but thankfully found a new job late last year but at a reduced salary and much lower bonus.

Is that something to worry about when they say i should get my lawyer to call them back if i dont call myself is this just a scare tactic they use

Well, it's been awhile since I posted about my pd loans but got a settlement offer from Paychecktoday. They wanted to settle for $450 on a $500 loan for which I have already paid 1350 for. Since I live in California and believe them to be illegal I called them and spoke to Rudy. I told him I emailed him 5 times and never got a response from him and let him know I expected a refund of overpayment and a PIF letter. He then told me this was a wasted phone call and hung up! I am sure to hear from them again. I did the right thing, didn't I?

This woman called told me i should contact her or my lawyer she left a case # and thats it never said what company or where she from

First USA says we owe them about $5000 from a credit card that was opened in 1999. They've never contacted us....they've always used a collection agency (NCO). Our attorney is in the process of closing the account with NCO and recommended that we go to First USA and talk to them about any underlying balance (even though NCO told us we paid off, they now have been telling us we didn't). Should I contact First USA? Even though they have never contacted us?

I have 78k in CC debt. I could not afford to pay it in 5(wish I could otherwise I wouldn't be in this position). :( Does anyone know of a rep. company that extends it out further than 5 years? TIA!
