Upon receiving a Wage Garnishment Document from Ca. (I am in Nevada) the WG Document did not have my correct ss# & merely faxed our HR/Payroll correcting it. Don't the courts have to re-type and re-submit this Legal Document to change it?

I got a call at 9 this morning from a restricted number but the agency left a message saying I have a penalty against my SS# and I was going to be turned over to a county in Texas where I used to live. I called the number they left on my vm and it was CCR and Assoc. It was from a 3yr old payday loan and said I needed to pay the money or it was going to be turned over to the county. I said well im am not able pay anything at the moment so if its turned over where to I go to pay it? The lady didnt know and I told her I didnt live in the state anymore.

ok so when the original creditor calls because you switched bank accounts do you send a dv letter to them? i am confused. thanks.

i have just gotten a letter from the nice folks at NCO financial pertaining to a previous cc debt i may have had..i'm sure i already paid this account off through arrow..but anyways, how easy does this group backdown? I sent my dv letter and awaiting a response..i do have my payment receipts from other ca, but after looking closer-i think nco is trying to collect on what was settled on..can they legally try to collect on a settled accout like that???????

I have about 4 payday loans that I need help paying off. Im in a very bad situation. I am about to go into labor in one month and wont be able to afford to pay the payday loans on time.. I am having a hard time payin now because Im left with no money for my regular bills. I live in San Antonio, TX have one loan for $850. one for $1000 one for $500 and one for $1050. Ive tried getting one big loan so I can pay all these off and have one monthly bill but I dont have good credit so noone approves me PLEASE HELP.

I got an updated credit report from Transunion from when I disputed my 2002 bankrutpcy. Now mind you I've had credit monitoring for 3-4 months so I can keep tabs of what gets put on my report. Well somehow I either A over looked this, or it was a new account that was placed (and for some reason it didn't report yet. Premier recovery at it again! They listed an account I had a charge off with one of my cards. Now mind you,I've been WAITING for that letter so I could dispute the amount they want and negotiate a payoff/payment plan.
