Island National Group LLC/RJM Acquisitions LLC Question

16 years 11 months ago
Hi everyone...hopefully someone can help. Today I received a letter from Island National Group LLC for a debt that I owe to Bank of America. The total debt to Bank of America is $950.21. The letter I received is offering to take $96 off my past due balance and if I pay by June 27, they will double my payment. In other words, if I pay them $427.10 the account will be satisfied in full. Can anyone give me advice? Should I take advantage of this but also make a copy of the correspondence? Help! I want to pay this off and this sounds like a good deal!!!

what to include in BBB, OAG, FTC and Texas Office of Consumer Credit c

16 years 11 months ago
complaints...... What should I include in the complaints? I mean send my bank statements? I have spreadsheets of what I've paid and dates..... Also, I file complaints with BBB for MY area, not the PDL's area right? Any links or samples of what others have submitted would be great. PDL's are Ameriloan, Eastside, PDL Loan Center (High Country Ventures), VD FUnding and GFS / GFSIL whatever they call themselves.... I've only received one response to date from Ameriloan just saying they received my email fax and to call them.

Which letter should I send?

16 years 11 months ago
Hello, I received a phone call a week ago from a CA claiming my husband owed a credit card debt of $1400.00. At first he said it was from 2005 and I told him point blank that was impossible. Then he tried to say maybe my husband was having an affair and that is why I didn't know about it. After laughing, I explained that it was impossible and then he corrected himself and said the debt was from 1995. He said it was from a chase manhattan account. My husband says he never had a credit card through Chase. I ask them to send me proof of the debt. They do not.

Lien relaeased vs. Lien paid

I had 2 tax liens on my credit, they were of small amounts, the largest being $1100. They have both been paid. However, one shows PAID and the other one RELEASED. What's the difference?

OK, So I sent CA DV letter (like sample on this site) requesting: 1. Agreement with your client that authorizes you to collect on this alleged debt. 2. Agreement that bears signature of the alleged debtor wherein he promises to pay the creditor. 3.
