I received this email today from CDP Customer Service the collection agency for Mycashnow. Credit Protection Depot PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT WE ARE CONSIDERING POSSIBLE ACTION THAT MAY REQUIRE A COURT APPEARANCE. YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT A RECOMMENDATION TO OBTAIN OUTSIDE REPRESENTATION TO COLLECT THIS LEGALLY BINDING DEBT MAY BE OUR NEXT STEP .WE ARE PREPARING TO TAKE WHATEVER COLLECTION ATTEMPTS THAT ARE LEGAL, THAT ARE DEEMED NECESSARY AND APPROPRIATE.

So yesterday a guy calling himself Mark Johnson with a heavy indian accent called my job at least 10 times and harrassed 2 different receptionists. He yelled and told them he was from the United States Investigation Dept. I am on the phones all day and couldn't take his call. He actually started calling at 6:58am to my cell and continuted calling that as well!! He also wanted to speak to my supervisor. I called this morning to get the name of his company but he didn't want to tell me. He kept asking how he can help me. Finally he told me and her I am........

With summer approaching im noticing im not spending much time on this site as id like too, but i havent forgotten yous and sometimes i even miss you guys! i just wanted to thank all of you for welcoming me in jan i think to this excellent community. Also i wont be on as much not that summer is here my 5 year old keeps me outdoors most of the summer and when im not with him im with my husband on our second child. the harley. after our debt issues i rewarded us with a harley davidson. stupid i know but it was the best thing me and my husband could have done for ourselves.

A few weeks ago we were in court with a collection agency. My defense was the account was never validated. Judge told the lawyer to provide us with proper documentation and scheduled us to come back in November of this year, 6 months away. Received a letter yesterday from their lawyer. With the letter came two copies of “Plaintiff’s First Demand for Interrogatories To Defendant”. -I am supposed to answer “I have no sufficient documentation to agree or disagree” to each question, correct? -Do I have to get these papers notarized? -What do I do with the two copies?

Just received a call from Devin @Action Recovery. His number is 816-581-3740 x344. My hunch is this has to do with one of my payday loans. My search attempts only seem to relate to car repossessions, and fortunately, that isn't an issue I am going through. Has anyone heard of and/or dealt with Action Recovery in reagrds to collecting on an unpaid payday loan?

recieved so called validation back for medical debt. It looks like it was printed on microsoft word. There is no company letterhead. It just has my daughters name, the so-called dos, and the amount. Is this proper validation? I asked for proof of ownership or assignment. Proof of a valid business agreement in accordance with hippa, and the signed agreement with the OC and myself. What should I do?

LVNV added one of their signature Installment Loans on my credit as a factoring company. I sent a DV to them at the PO Box listed on my credit report and recieved a response from Resurgent Capital Services stating that they had recieved my inqueiry and provided a fake validation (just a printout from their system) listing LVNV as the creditor (they also had the 30 day dispute window notice printed at the bottom of the letter). The validation was not even close to what I asked them for in the DV. I know that LVNV and Resurgent are part of the same group of companies.

Could someone please help me find out if any of these are legal in Missouri. I have searched the list and can't find anything on them. They were all done online. Cash Direct Express, Mu Pay Day Loan, and Honest Pay Day. All info would be greatly appreciated.

It's been a while since I've gotten to post a HOF poll and I see several members that are approaching that 1000 psot mark but this one is a bit different. ChrysHenderson is the Community Manager for DebtCC and I wasn't quite sure if I could even nominate him. I checked with Vikas first and he is all for it. Since Chrys has become a member of the forum he has assisted a great many members and guests with his informative posts. His tireless research is impeccable and his advice is some of the best I've seen on this forum.

What is a motion notice and judgement dismissal? Also a final judgement execution withheld?
