Just got a couple of questions relating to what motions I need to file to get the case dismissed. The judgment has been vacated. Plaintiff really has no proofs. I have been advised here that I should file a motion for case dismissal with prejudice. On what grounds??? Or I first need to file a motion for discovery? If plaintiff can't provide proofs, I then file a motion for case dismissal??? I need to know which comes first. I will be heading down to the court house next week to ask for some assistance as to how to file a motion and etc.....

I am currently working very hard to straighten my credit. I filed bankruptcy a while back and I understand that stays on and effects my credit for years to come. My question is, these accounts are still showing that I owe many thousands of dollars in the amount due column. If I dispute these to get the balances to zero will that help my credit score. Shouldn't they be zero amounts. Thanks, K

Hello everyone, I've received an Arbitration from Chase (now owened by Mann Bracken) which I owe $28K. Should I respond to NAF? Am I required to respond or should I call Mann Bracken to settle it? Has anyone worked with Mann Bracken? Thanks, Chephil111

Hi, I hoped Verizon to cancel off their charges as we never used nor refused to take them, yet they turned their charges to NCO as a debt. While i have no financial problem paying the debt, i am still wandering if paying debt to NCO will bring any positive effect on credit scores. Currently, it says charged off and Bad debt. Can i correct them in any way? I also want to know what i need to do when dealing with NCO guys. I heard of the necessity of Cetified mail and return receipt. What else do i need to have in my mind when i am dealing with them over the phone?

i got a call and from the john nicolia office called the guy back and he told me that i was headed to jail for 10 years and that the judge is going to throw me in jail and that i had so much to pay and i get a copy of my credit report and the amount is different from what the guy said. what is going on i'm freaking out big time. can somebody please help me?

I have tried looking for certain CA's in washington state and most of what I have is from out of state CA's when i go in and put names in it comes up with nothing? Is it because Washington State provides that any collector can come into this state and sue? Thanks!
