My husband and I have 5 payday loans that we have to be out of now. We can't afford them another payday or we'll lose our cars/apartment. WA state is also passing laws, likely before the end of this month, that will bring the PDL industry to a halt here but will hurt us if we aren't out of PDLs.
We wanted to close our bank account but have been waiting for a pending item to clear before they will allow us to do so.
Has any body worked with MY1 direct. I spoke with them today about a loan I have with themfor $350 and have paid $445 so far. They won't listen to me about the internet loans in KY are illegal and want to settle for $100. Any suggestions?
Can anyone tell me what it means to receive a 1099-C on a home that has been forclosed on? I am sure it is good right? I had my home (of 11 years) forclosed on (painful memory) and the mortgage company sent me a 1099-C for the forgiven balance on the mortgage. I filed it with my taxes last year. I see that the mortage company is still making (this year) inquiries regularly on my credit report (the ones that are viewed only by you kind). Why?
Question: If I was in the process of chapter 13 bk, but my loans are still current and will be until it starts, what will show up on my cosigners credit report during the time of the 5 year bankruptcy where I will have a payment plan. I understand my credit will show bk but if he is not filing for bk, will his credit be fine untill its over????

I am seriously considering taking out a loan from a company called Thinkcash. I have no where else to turn for a loan and my credit is shot. Taking out this loan will allow me to complete a debt settlement agreement that will ultimately save me thousands, so I really don't want to miss this opportunity. I can't seem to find any negative info on the web other than they charge outrageous interest fees, which I am aware of.
