After thinking I was through with these low lifes and the whole ordeal, I accidentally took a restricted call on my cell. It was a, "processor" that wanted to know when I would be at home, or work, Wed. or Thurs. I asked him for the number of the Co. and he relunctantly gave it to me. I called,sounds like 3rd party, an outfit in NY that deals with all these PDL co's. 1-866-360-8302, said co. name is WNYC...I told him I had sent C&D letter last year along with a complaint to AG. He said he would need to see them to "remedy" the situation.

I been enrolled to Debt settl. program. today, recieved collection letter from law firm, attempting to collect for Citibank acct Basic questions are: What can debt settlement company can do at this stage? If this ended up to court, can i tell the judge that im under settlement program and working on paying the acct.

I was with a consumer credit counseling agency for a year because I had such high balances on credit cards. I was not late just not able to pay more than the minimum each month after I went on FMLA to help take care of an ill parent. I was paying CCA 950 per month, when I was contacted by a settlement company who told me they could settle my debts in a few years for 700 a month. In a weak confused moment I consented. I never missed a payment.

Has anyone worked with the company Professional Debt consultants. If so, how did it work out?

I need help asap. I was not aware of Bank of America's system. I made a few debit card purchases one day as well as a cash withdrawl over the weekend. Monday I am preparing to go put cash into my bank account because I wrote a large check and wanted to make sure I compensated knowing I was going to probably overdraft. Well Bank of America dropped the large check into my account before all of the debits as well as the withdraw, so I got 7 overdraft charges. Pretty ridiculous. I have direct deposit, and I want to STOP the payment to that account until I have this rectified.

i had an auto lease that was for 36 months per original lease contract. i paid on regularly with a few late pays here and there..my original lease was for 36 month..its been 4 years since my lease was up...just got my credit report..cr says lease was for 38 month..and it was was charged off for the 2 last payments and some change roughly 850.00. how long can this report that way? when does the 7 month timeframe for credit reporting start on this account? from first 30 day late pay or from when the leasing charged off the debt for lack of payment?

got a call at work hudson and assoc law firm 904-222-8525 saying i owe a pdl from 04 for 780.00 i wont pay without debt validation letterwhen i told them they are coming to my work tomorrow with a search warrant and to talk to my manager. I dont know what to do I almost want to pay them I cant get these calls at work
