Had a WaMu CC (14k) that went to Arrow Financial, now it is with a local Atty (Appx 2 months) What are the odds to settle and with who? Arrow bought the debt (Cheaply i am sure)

i just checked my credit report and there is something called KROLL FACTUAL DATA/060 it said its a motgaged reporters i have no clue will this hurt my credit?

Hello, This site has been invaluable to me as I have tried to get my payday loans under control. I have 14(!!) payday loans--like many people, it started with one or two and has ballooned out of control. After reading about extended payment plans here, I was able to negotiate payment plans with 5 of the lenders. I have 7 loans for which the lenders would not negotiate a payment plan. I plan to pay off the remaining two loans. My question has to do with the 7 loans for which I have no payment plan.

Does anyone know this number 516-858-3480 ? I'm sure its a collection agency. I tried to google it and nothing comes up.

Ok, here is the deal. Somehow or another Experian merged my credit report with someone else's. So I found that out and supposedly got it sorted a few months ago. Today I receive a call from Allied Interstate looking for the person who's credit account was merged with mine. I explain I am named Ryan C and the person they are looking for is named Bryan D. Karr. The lady explains it is my debt or they would not have the phone number after I explained my situation. She then goes, "You mean your social security number is not 238-XX-XX63?" and I say, "can you repeat that" and she does.

All the above postings are at the end of 2006 and I am searching for answers in 2009! This company called me today and informed me that they needed to settle my (specific) credit card debt and implied "or else". I asked which debt (I'm am very deep in debt and have been trying to the extent possible to work with the companies directly and pay off the debt). They told me and I said I needed to verify through the original company before I spoke with them further.

I have gotten a lot of useful information reading many of these forums, and started to put it to good use by blocking my bank account & calling both Langhorne & PDL to find out what they provide & for how much. The fees for both are almost as bad as the loans themselves. I would love to do this myself, but I am not so sure I can. I have 9 internet & 3 storefront loans. I will list them at the end of this post. Can someone tell me which ones are legal or illegal in the state of IL? I just defaulted Friday. Today they are just realizing it & calling / emailing me left, right & center.

Okay, is this company one of those I need to send a validation letter to?

Hey you guys!! I am a engaged mother of 4 who wants to clean up her credit and get these loans off my back! Currently, I have a loan with magnum cash lending and Cashcall. Both of these lenders are bleeding me dry when it comes to their repayments!! I want to clean up my credit before I get married, because its going to be harder to do when that time comes. Can anyone help me with this, PLEASE?? I am current with both lenders, but my checking account is now overdrawn thanks to them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
