I have been reading alot about people closing their accounts and writing the letters to stop ACH withdrawls and stuff, but I'm interested to know how things went for everyone after that.  Were you harassed by the PDL people, any problems with your bank, does it ever show your loan as paid in full, etc?  Getting ready to start the whole process myself and I'm a bit nervous.  Some of the loan companies are not very friendly.

I live in GA, which has non-judicial foreclosure.  In March 2008 my house was auctioned, there were no bidders and it reverted to the lender. The lender is showing the Major Delinquency as first reported in March of 2009.  Based on conversations with creditors, the lender began reporting the foreclosure shortly after it happened in 2008. The only possible trigger for the change in date is that the house was sold in March of 2009.  Can I fight the date change? If so, how?

Does anyone have email addresses for the following PDL's Magnum Eastside Lenders The Loan Shop ACC-CashSpot   Any help would be appreciated...trying to get these letters out as quickly as possible since they are due to debit on Friday.

Has anyone had any success settling with these people? My account was charged off and bought by CACH and Cambece is trying to collect on it, everything I have read has not been good on either of these companies. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had dealings with them.

I am looking for some advice on how to handle my mounting debts. I am self employeed and wife is employed our combined income is about 100k a year. No or little home equity, 60k 401k. Total unsecured debt $110000 should I try to settle or think about bankruptcy. Thanks in advance

has anyone ever heard of a dispute leading to a lawsuit?  Ie disputing a Collectoin

I got married since my last request for my credit report.  Equifax for some reason won't give me a copy of my report online.  I am mailing a copy of my drivers licence and ss card as sugested by the anualcreditreport.com.  My drivers licence and ss card have my new last name.  Is Equifax going to send me a copy of my report and change my last name on my report as well?

Has anyone received any settlement offers from payday loan companies? I received two today from National Credit Adjusters for MY1 Direct and SSM Group Inc. NCA website is listed as ncaks.com.... I'd be curious to see if anyone has any stories?

Hello,   New to this form so "Hello" to all and hope someone can shed some light on my situation!    In 1993 I was legally divorced and ordered to take over certain loans as well as my ex-wife. I paid off all my loans years ago but now one is coming back to haunt me.    The particuliar loan was a line of credit signed by both myself and my ex-wife in 1993. The judge ordered her to take over this loan and make payments on it.
