Anyone beat LVNV in court? After they already sued you, do they usually have the valid docs needed in court to prove the debt is truly yours? They filed against me and are now asking the court for an extra 30 days to get the docs I asked them to produce during discovery? I'm wondering if they ever really have these docs anyway, I'm guessing they always file suit anyway, hoping to "scare" the debtor...

My husband is going to close our bank account today. Will this stop them from taking money out next Friday. If they do they will wipe us out again. Can they reopen the account and get money after it is completly closed. They are all illegal in Indiana

Just need some advice on what to do when I CAN'T make payment arrangements with a PDL company right now. I revoked my ACH authorization with a legal PDL company. My husband also has a PDL with them and that ACH authorization has been revoked also. The company did honor the revocation. For the past 12 months, I have been struggling with PDLs. It all started with a steep medical bill that demanded monthly payments in order to keep receiving services. That's how the PDLs started.

My husband and I got married last year and are trying to determine whether to file separately or together. I am worried because he has massive credit card debt (in debt collection) and I wonder if filing together will make me liable as well. Has anyone had experience with this? I do not have debt and have worked hard to keep my financial situation in check and I do not want the government or debt collectors to come after my savings, etc.

ISAC was to garnish my check for 9 months, but I was told that due to the current economic situation they may not be able to find a lending institution and would have to continue the garnishment. Can they do that? My 40 hr week has been cut to 22 hrs.

Exibit B is a "Printout of Electronic Business Records of Plaintif's Assignor with Information Pertaining to Other Debtors Redacted" Can anyone please tell me wth this is?
