I just wanted to post on the website and see if people could give me some ideas about what to do. I've been contacted by Resurgent Capital Services, Aegis Receivables Management Inc., and Allied Interstate all trying to collect on a debt for LVNV funding LLC in the amount of about 300 dollars. Allied Interstate has told me that Old Navy was the original creditor but Aegis and Resurgent have said that GE capital.

i had a big rig repo, i still owe 20k on it. iwant to pay but i make 12./hr 40hr/wk. what i want to do is make payment, no intrest, on about 10k. can you help me with this?

Has anyone ever gone to court with storefront PDLs in Arizona? Just wondering what to expect. These people are real jerks. Worst mistake I ever made was getting into this PDL nightmare. I have told friends my story and have stopped a few from getting payday loans. I have three storefront loans I defaulted on and none wanted to make any kind of payment arrangements. So I guess I wait to go to court, hopefully I can make payment arrangements through the court like I wanted to do in the first place. I think they do this on purpose to get more money out of people.

What are the laws fro Louisiana concerning internet payday loans?

Which debt solution show as a negative on you rcredit report? Or do they all?

I have gotten 12 calls on my cell phone in the last hour from a creditor whom I already told them when I would be able to make my payment. I am offically as of tomorrow 30 days past due. They call and they also never leave messages.... I know I am late and I know that they want their money and they will go to the ends of time to get it, but if you make some kind of arrangement with them should they still be able to call you 12 times in an hour... and they day just started............. Thanks for reading and letting me vent!

Could someone please tell me if these companies are legal/licensed in my state? I have tried, but cannot find the answer. Also, if I have overpaid, is there a way to get money from any of these companies? I live in Ohio. I have an account with Portfolio Recovery that is past satute of limitations, they got it in 05, and I disputed it with Experian when I recently received a copy of my credit report, now all of a sudden they are calling me. It is out of the SOL period. What should I do? Do I talk to them and tell them they can't collect because of that or what? I want to know what I am talking about if I do confront them when I answer the next call. thanks and PS... I am in Virginia

I took out a pdl with a group called SSM back in november at the time money was very tight and I needed to make the rent even if it ment overdrawing my checking account... I was going though my old account history and there are NO signs of SSM trying to collect on it. I surely thought it was paid! I recieved NOTHING in the mail from them asking to collect..or even a call..Now Im getting calls from some wannabe lawyer in New York. First on the caller ID its "legal check and reporting" then when i went to call them back the voicemail said "CCR and assosiates".
