I have a lot of debt and judgments. I would like to go ahead and marry my sons father. If we get married and keep everything in his name, checking account house and cars, etc., can my creditors take him to court to make him pay for my debts. I do not work, I am a stay at home mom.
I am going to marry soon my finance has a past foreclousure and credit card default. My credit score is currently very good. When we get married will his past credit problems have any effect on my credit score?
Does anyone know what the laws are in SC for Debt collection. Don't they have to be licensed in the state to collect a debt? I was confused because the way I read it, it said in state they had to be licensed, but if they are located out of state they don't.
does anyone know if they are legal anywhere. i went to utahs website and saw a impact cash llc that was liscened so i am assuming they are. but maybe that is a diferent one
Does anyone hear have any dealings with Nuvell Financial? I have a car loan with them and I though I am not 30 days late they call me atleast 10 times a day from 5 or 6 different phone numbers and NEVER leave a message. I know it is them because I call the number back and it answers Nuvell Financial... I have had a poor payment history with them, but I do pay... just not as fast as they would like..
any advice about them would be greatly appreciated.

I contacted all the people on my credit report that I owe money to, got settlement letters, and paid them off. It has been 30 days and they have not reported them as paid to any of the credit bureaus?
Now what can I do???
I called these guy's and tried to get an email address which I did get! (melissa@sagamorecorp.com) but when I asked if the address I had was correct she asked if I had a loan with them. I fumbled the ball and said yes then she asked for my name which I did not tell her, then refused to give me an address which apparently has recently changed.
Anyway I have the email and I will send NOW!
$300.00 loan - paid $630.00!
