Hi, new here as I was researching Alias Summons info. I live in cook county in Illinois. I got this summons this weekend. Here is the info: Return date of 3/24/09. My debit is 2200.00 that was a credit card debt from Capital One. It it now with North Star Aquistion. I don't remember the last time I paid on this credit card. They have a charge off date of 2/05 listed on the summons. Should I call the attorney that represents this agency ? I looked up apperance froms on Cook County website, but do I fill it out and pay the fee before the return date and still show up on the return date?

how long do i have to have an established payment history in order to avoid garnishment? its lvnv funding llc btw :p

I have way too many payday loans & I am a the point where I need payday loans to pay previous payday loans! I dont know what to do --I live in NJ and i have contacted "Langhorne" but havent connected with the rep yet-- Can anyone help?

Can I get clarification on the 3 that I have. Cash Central - borrowed $700 paid $175.00 week owe $600.00 I paid more AAA payday - borrowed $400 paid $100. week, owe $350.00 I paid more Cityview - borrowed $300 paid 2 extension so $90.00 each so I owe them about $120.00 All of these have been rolling over week after week and borrowing then Minnesota allows. How do I figure how much I owe or not.

I am a little behind onmy auto loan. I am working with my credit union and will be caught up by the end of the month. They are now saying they won't accept any more payments until I let them do an employment verification. Is this right? I've had the loan for over two years.

I would like to let people know that are looking for help with a pay day loan-to stay away from CASH NET USA. I took a loan out with them, last spring. At the time I was working and I made three payment to them-I called an explained that I was laid off and could not afford the whole amount they wanted me to pay back. Well they would not settle for less then the minium amount-and now they have turned it over to a collection company-now instead of 450.00 I owe them-they want 1150.00. Please be ware when dealing with CASH NET don't get caught in the same trap I did.

I really need some help here. I got way too in over my head with these payday loans. I have closed my checking and savings accounts so that they can't take anymore money. How this all got started I was spending money and didn't realize that I was doing it. I applied for a payday loan and got it. It was so easy. Well, I eventually was able to pay some off but then I re-loaned. Now I am at the point where I can't afford the finance charges and was in danger of going into more trouble with my bank and I didn't want to look like a bad 'check writer'. thus, I have closed all accounts.

I SENT LETTERS AND E-MAIL TO CASH SUPPLY STATING FEES THEY CHARGED WERE ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF OHIO AND I ONLY OWED THE PRINCPLE AMOUNT NO RESPONSE. NOW MY ACCT HAS BEEN SOLD TO AIS SERVICES AND THEY STATE I OWE 966.00 ON 500.00 BORROWED WHICH I HAVE PAID 400.00. HOW DO PROCEED?
