I just got a call from them offering me a loan, they said one of my other lenders gave me a referral. What a joke, they just want my bank information, I think they are part of MTE. I politelly said NO THANK YOU and hung up.

These ppl went into my acct and took all my money without any authorization. Can they do that? I thought they needed my authorization to do any transactions. Is there a number to call them because when I attempted to call them there was no active number. Help me please - these @%&#%^&% cleaned out my acct and I notice they are still attempting to take my money.

Hello, I am very thankful to have found this forum, and I am sure that with your help (and some persistence) I can get these "lenders" off my back. I have read up a lot on this forum as to legality of the loans, and the immediate steps to take, but I just wanted to be sure that I'm doing everything right. I had a crisis where rent was due and friends and family couldn't help, but I knew I wouldn't be able to pay them all back immediately.

My husband and I are facing a serious situation. First of all, we are in South Carolina, where garnishment of wages is not available to creditors. Because of some bad decisions, medical problems, and loss of income, our debt finally got the best of us last Fall. We no longer have enough after our house payment, car payment, student loans, and living expenses to meet our unsecured debt payments. We have approximately $250 to apply to minimum payments that are roughly $1000. We were paying all the minimums totaling $1000 and then using the credit cards to meet our living expenses.

Hi there! Just wondering what everyone out there has heard or thinks is happening with the economy related to debt settlement offers. Are the settlement offers out there getting better (for the consumer) or worse? Where do you think the trend for settlement is going?

I am still getting calls on the same account now from a law office. i have heard that on some accounts you can offer about 20% or something like that of the tottel.. is that true and how much should i offer on a $3,000. + account? thanks

Advice please! I received a bonus at work for sales for 2008, and I would like some advice on what to do with it. We had planned on using it for a small construction job at our home that is getting pretty critical, but I couldn't sleep last night thinking about everything. I am trying to refinance my homes and car, so I would guess that I should focus on doing things that would give my FICO's the biggest bump.

So heres the deal. I purchased a motorcycle using HSBC. I did a one year no payments. After a year I stopped/didnt get any statements. So after 2 months(past the one year mark) I sold my house and moved and gota call from a repo man. Saying I had to return it. ASked if I could pay it off in full to the bank or him. They said no. So I gave it back. a month goes by and they sold it at an auction. Now they want me to pay the difference that it sold for and what was owed. Also I received a letter from attoerney/counselors at law that they will sue if I dont comply.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with paydayonline.com? I've sent the validation letter but have not had a response. From the BBB, I see that the complaints were simply unanswered. I've paid 1250 on a 600 loan and would like to get a PIF, and possibly refund(although I know that is unlikely).
