Hi, I am new to this forum. I am hoping by posting this, that I can figure out what to do with all of our cc debt, of which there is around 50k. I honestly don't know how it got that high, and I am totally stressed and overwhelmed with it. It is all at 0 interest (for the moment), and payments are current, but when the interest rates start to reset in a few months, we will be in trouble. I have looked at Chapter 13, (there is no way we will qualify for Chapter 7), debt consolidation, (the payments are formidable and I do not want to risk my house), and last debt settlement.

Hi, My Mom filed a stipulated judgment on April 04, 1989 in Pennsylvania and we renewed it on her behalf in 1994. Would you be able to help us recover any of this judgment or is it too late to renew. John Hubbard

Hello, Now that I've canceled with useless Langhorne, I am dealing with the PDLs myself. I would greatly appreciate help/advice with the following companies who have started calling. 500fastcash: I borrowed $500 and made 4 payments of $150. I live in California, and my understanding is they are illegal and I only owe principle. Therefore, I have overpaid. I have emailed them this information and said that if they continue contacting me, I will pursue a $100 refund. I would like to mail them a certified letter - does anyone have an address?

I got a call from this company today too threating an arrest if I didn't deposit $700.00 into an account at Bank Of America today, but I did not do it. I turned them in to 5 on your side and to the BBB. Please do not give them any money. This is a scam and is illegal. How could they get the number to my cell phone (which is prepaid) and not have my current address and home number? They had an address I used three years ago and I have moved three times since then.

Is there another forum, either here at Debt Consolidation Care, or on another website that focuses more on issues related to mortgage delinquency, the foreclosure process, loan modification, HELOC delinquencies, etc.? I'm enjoying the unsecured debt consolidation/settlement forum here, it is a godsend. So much good information and stories there. But there isn't a lot of activity on mortgage/home related loans here. Just checking if there's a better place to go for more discussion on those topics.

Good afternoon. They have been calling and threatening me with garnishment! Less that a month ago I spoke with a lady over there and set up arrangements of them withdrawing $100 out of each of my checks. I gave them my account information and everything. As of today, 2/18, they haven't withdrawn anything!!!! They are still calling! What do I do now? I tried working with them. If they would do what they said they were going to do with withdrawing the money from my account then maybe they would quit calling me.

I have several accounts on my credit that are all in good standing. I just have one credit card with $25,000 in debt. I was making payments on it but when my husband was laid off, I couldn't make payments. It's over 90 days due and I want to settle the debt but I am afraid of how it will affect my credit score and what I can do to make sure it is not too negative on my credit. Any advice?

I lost my job on 1/16/09 and I all up the 247advance people and told them do not debit m account the money would not be there I was told to fax my separation letter ans the unemployment letter stating what i would get weekly, however it would take 4-6 weeks befor i got the first check. these people have been debiting my account weekly causing me bank fees i am now up to 500.00 in bank fees, what can I do Personal information deleted as per TOS

Hi All. I lost my log in info and i hope its okay to pose the question here and follow up this way. I will e-mail for my log in info or re sign up. 1st I have two Pay Day Loans both for $300 take two years ago. I had to close two bank accounts because of them taking too much out. I finished one loan and never finished paying on the other. Now I have the calls coming in and I made the mistake of talking with the guy who was nice and reasonable, but he would not send me a letter in the mail confirming our agreement and he would not accept monthly payments from me.

but do people even google/search anymore? I sweare the last few questions that have been asked in various threads a simple search would have found an answer. Okay done venting.
