Hi everyone I got another account with Bank of America. I owed them $11000. They sent to a collection company called NCO Financial System Inc. However, the account # they are going after me is a wrong account #. Do I still owe them money? The first 8 digits are correct. However, the last 8 digits were all in-correct. I already sent this info to my settlement company and see what they say. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have 20k in debt. Both secured and unsecured. I messed up pretty bad with a Motorcycle loan and a credit card. The motorcycle is about to be repossesed and I owe on a Credit Card as well. 3 of the accounts I owe (part of the 20k) are in Good standing. The other 3 are not. Any suggestions on places I can go to look for relieving this debt and working on getting it resolved? CH in ATX

I was recently sued by a CA in Pennsylvania. My goal here is to avoid having the black mark of a judgement on my CR. Is there anything I can do. I can't afford the whole request of paying off the debt. If the court set up a payment plan i could manage that, but really i want to avoid this stigma on my CR. Is there any advice out there?

As part of a Validation request for credit card debt, why does a CA send you a copy of a cardholder agreement that has a copyright date of 2 years past the date that they say you opened the account? Do they really not know what they are doing? If you bring that to thier attention can they just go print out an older cardholder agreement somewhere? I can't find anywhere on the internet where you can go to print off old cardholder agreements for BOA. I am wondering where they found the one they have. I can't figure out their angle.

I recently made an arrangement with Asset Acceptance out of panic over the phone. They offered an agreement to pay half of the sum by next Friday and the other hald a month later, but I know i will not have enough funds to do this, i don't know what i was thinking...does anyone have any advice on the best way to handle this?

A apologize, as, for some reason, I posted my question in the wrong forum yesterday (I have no idea how I did that, but it happened). If anyone has seen this already, I am sorry, but I am still looking for some feedback. My wife and I are both totally disabled. My wife is impaired by medications and is unable to tackle any kind of important issue. She can't even drive a car right now because of it. I have been handling the phone calls from the banks. I have explained the situation to all the callers, then followed up with letters verifying the conversations.
