hello, i realy hope that you can help me with what i am requesting. i was not able to pay my credit cards payments becouse of thier high interest rates and so high monthly amount, so i caalled my credit cards company to ask them to lower my monthly min. payment amount and they offerd me to inrole a payment arrangement. i asked them if the payment arrangmet would not effect my credit scores then i will go ahead and sign in, the customer service rep.

I am ready to send them a letter but I need their email address. Anyone have this. I can't find it anywhere TIA.

I have met some real winners in my day...these guys take the cake!! $90 on a $300 loan- rollover 4 or 5 times and they then take out an extra $50 to pay down the balance for you. Try to talk to a supervisor about them being illegal? Well, if talking in circles doesn't work on you and you ask them if they hire "lawyers" who don't care about state laws and the answer will be: yes, they do not care and nor do we. I give him kudos for having a bit of moxy, but wow! I'm in AZ and have overpaid them by $50.

I have to admit, the voicemail i received today from a middle eastern guy (i think he said his name was jason something) almost made me laugh, but then i thought that maybe i should look into this to see if its a scam or not... dude calls me, telling me that if i dont call him back that i am running away and "bad things" will happen. the number he gave me to call back is 904-239-3956. he called from 004-081-5573. i know the return number is in jacksonville, fl. anybody have any dealings with this guy? what is this about?

i had posted this on debt consolidation, but told to look here. Has anyone gotten these people to stop calling them?

Hi - I have received a few calls from these people with an indian or middle eastern accent. They tell me I am going to be put in jail if I dont pay. I filed a report with the secret service and with the FTC. I told him this, and I asked him again what it is all about. He said I would understand when I am behind bars tomorrow. I asked him why I wasn't behind bars already like he had said yesterday and he hung up. Has anyone has similar instances and did they quit calling after telling them what I told them? Thanks!

Hello I have been turned down by several banks because of my checksystem report. I have heard that i should consider an out of state credit union that has shared branches that i can go to in my area (I live in St. LOuis MO.) but every credit union i look at has membership regulations which do not allow me to apply. So how do i do this?

This is a topic of big debate.What is in the stimulus bill? and how it will effect you? I personally have read, read, and read, and watched tv, hours and hours on this issue. My family is very low income and personally i dont feel this bill will effect us at all in this time of crisis. If anything it is going to hurt us in about 3-4 years we will be recieving this bill.

I am in the payday loan mess. I placed a stop payment on the drafts from Ashland Funding on Friday 2/6/09 for any amount due to they were drafting different amounts daily and has caused the account to go into an overdraft status. I have just gotten an email from Matt stating the account has been sold to I Collect and that I can go to a web site to pay at a discounted rate. The message also states that I have 48 hours or the account will be sold to an outside collection agency. I have been unable to locate I Collect on the web...does anyone have any details about them or Ashland Funding?
