Hi I have been reading this to see if I could gain some help in getting myself out of the payday loop. But I think I need a little more advise. I have 10 internet PDL's that is more than I make and leaves no room for paying my daily needs, like rent and utilities. I live in NJ. Any help would be appreciated.

How do I remove a collection company who has since sold it to another company that is appearing on my credit report??

My husband and I are also struggling. He, however, refuses to acknowledge how bad it really is. I don't want to make it seem as if he doesn't care for his family's well being but I feel that the credit card payments are his first priority. We're behind a few months on other utilities and loans and sometimes we have to work with very little money for groceries. Our checking account is sometimes down to single $ amounts.

I have been sent judgement by HSBC credit card via Weltment, Weinberg, and Reis Co. LPA from Pittsburg, PA(I also live in PA). I know I have to respond to this in 20 days, however I do not know how to respond or what to say. Is there a "sample letter" for that. I do plan on sending your "sample letter" for settling that debt, but I have to respond to this and quickly. Please help.

Hi. I am hoping that someone can help me out. In the last couple of months I have been getting a call from Nicholas Jackson with TJF Corporations. He has a very thick accent and really hard to understand. I have told him several times not to call me at work; however, he keeps calling me at work. I verified my home number but hen I refused to give him my cell phone number he got very angry. Yesterday he called me 7 times at work within a 10 minute span. He gave me his call back number of 904-201-3839. When you call that number they just answer hello. Today he called me at home.

I was hoping to find a legimate company that someone has worked with and ones' that accept payday loans as part of the settlement along with my other debts. I noticed that if they ask for an upfront fee beware, is this true? I am in enough debt and don't want anymore!!!! I have 5 payday loans, and yes cashcall, most settlement companies said they will not handle these, please help me find a reputable company.

Hello, would I know if a tax offset had been put into place or would they just keep my taxes? I didn't get anything so I am praying that I get my refund. The CA told me that it hadn't been done this year, a couple weeks ago, but it would be done next year if I didn't start paying. I am currently paying, however they were untruthful about so many things I don't know what to believe. Also, how long will it take to hear from the Ombudsman, I spoke to someone on 01-26-2009 and they told me they would call me in about a week. They are trying to lower my monthly payment. Thanks

I mailed out by certified mail all six of my pdl letters. I want to use a back up by either emailing or faxing them too. Is it better to email or fax them? I want to make certain that they can't say I never sent the letters. Certified mail is the best, I know, but their addresses seem to change often so I want to be certain that they are received. Let me know what you think.

I am over my head with debt and feel like I am drowning...I have made some bad decisions and now that my hours at work have been cut I am losing my grip faster and faster. I am in Indiana. I am trying to figure out the best route to go. I don't want to file bankruptcy, but I am not sure what else to do. If anyone has some advice I would really appreciate any and all help I can get!
