i had a car that i voluntarily gave back to bank because i could not afford it. now they are suing me and i have 3 children no spouse and do not recieve support from the father he is incarcerated .i can barley make it from pay day to pay day .can i file hardship case before the judge and if so how do i go about doing it

Due to an overhelming amount of payday loans, I defaulted on a $300 loan with MTE Financial (aka $10 Payday). I was contacted by EAD Group, who eventually acquired the debt. I made arrangements with EAD Group to pay back $510 via monthly payments. In any event, EAD stuck to the repayment plan for the first two months. When the third month rolled around, they took out three different amounts. They took out my scheduled payment, which I expected. Without advising me, they also debited my last two payments,which kind of threw me for a loop.

I received a packet from a collection attorney last night. They are trying to get me to sign a consent judgement and I still feel very uncomfortable signing it. I acknowledge my credit card debit and I want to pay it in monthly payments until it is paid in full but the way this consent judgement is worded, it leaves me feeling that they will be able to do anything to me to get this debt settled. We agreed that my payments would be $80.00 per month but that agreement was not stated in the consent judgement.

If a creditor has filed a garnishment for $500 per month and you have been paying them $100 per month and they have accepted the $100 for 6 consecutive months can they still file the garnishment and get the $500 per month??

My friends at Citi Bank claimed I owed approximately 14,000.00. I had held the card for 15 years - no problems - then they upped the interest rate because of a late payment on another card. I claimed that they had no right to up my interest rate - long story short, I stopped paying them anything - that is when my bill went to 14,000.00. I believed I had a case - so when they sued my - I went to court. In a judgement - the court decided I owed Citibank $4,800.00. I paid the judgement - and then yesterday recieved a 1099 for almost 10K from citibank.

Hello I need help on how to respond to a citation saying I am being sued and need to respond to the dallas county clerks office within 20 days or a default judgement can be placed against me. This is for a credit card debt that was past its SOL in june of 08 date on this being first filed is sept 08. Investment retrivers is the plaintiff and I just need to help with written response to the clerks office

hello, Im also trying to get my life back, and get my credit reports up, Im from laredo txand as a teenager two loan me money, and I only pay two quotes to each of them, when went back to laredo to find out about my debt with they close permanently, how can I find them so I can pay what I owe

I know these addresses are probably posted here somewhere but I have been unable to find them. I had several items I wanted to dispute and sent a letter to TransUnion and Experian with each item listed and the reasons for my dispute. However I just got the letter to Experian back in the mail, 'return to sender, unable to forward, attempted-not known'. I had sent it to P. O. Box 949, Allen, Texas Do you have the current and correct addresses to send dispute letters to the CRA's?
