I was injured in 2003, in MO. I went to the hospital and my regular doctor which medicade paid for. I also went to an attorney who was going to handle my case. He sent me to a chiropractor. The case has been dropped because the witness refused to testify after 1 year. Now I am stuck 5 years later with a medical bill from the Chiropractor. I do not have any way to pay $3,400. Any suggestions on how to handle this?

I acknowledge a debt after the sol ran out the mediator and attorney lied and said it was still within the sol the judgement was entered now my wage is going to be garnished is there anything I can do?

A few questions as I am preparing to begin discussions with my credit card lenders: 1. Will the age of the debt affect my ability to settle? For example, some of my debt is "only" 6-8 months old. Some because I transferred debt around for 0% apr's, others because I incurred more debt. Afraid that since some of my debts are less than one year old, this will make settlement difficult or that I will be accused of fraud and sued... 2. Given the age of some of my debts, I actually still have two balances on 0% APR.

I signed up with langhorne and they all the necessary paper work out to my creditors, but i have gotten letters back from a few of them saying they don't deal with them. They are ameriloan, one click cash, and united cash loans. All are owned my clk management i'm told. now i spoke with langhorne and they said they settled with them in the past, but each of these places said they don't deal with them, has anyone on here used langhorne to settle with any of the places in the past.

I am 23 years old and am married. we are four months behind on our mortgage, and on Feb 1st, will be five months. We are about to pay the four months today. But am worried that it may be to late...and if not, that this might happen again. My car payment is five months late too, and see no way of paying it anytime soon....anything that can help me at all?

If my account is still current and I cannot pay on my credit card anymore due to my new financial situation, should I contact my creditor and ask to work something out before I go bad on it, or will it cause me more trouble down the line? Any help would be appreciated!

Once an account is turned over to the collector is it turned back over to the OC if the collector can't collect? I have a message telling me that if I can't pay that I will be turned back to the attorneys for Advanta for lawsuit. Thanks

After many months of dealing with these two companies, I sent them a letter requesting the original documents, exactly how much I paid and I understood that they were illegal in CA, etc. I received letters from both of these companies stating that they reviewed the matter and were closing my account and cesing all collection efforts against me. They did request that complaints I filed to outside parties be notified that this matter has been resolved. My question to the forum is this...

Does anyone have a fax number for this company?
