I have 3 internet loans. I live in Nevada. Someone help please. The loans are Ameriloan - 300.00 LiquidCashOnline - 500.00 VIPLOANSHOP - 500.00 I cannot pay these off. They are taking 380 in interest every two weeks. 760 a month. Are these illegal in my state? I know they have to be licensed in nevada.

Just wondering if anyone else received a call from these people. I had 3 missed calls onto cell and then had a call at work, which I stupidly answered. It was a middle eastern man stating he was with Baker and McKenzie law firm. That there was a law suit pending against me and he wanted me to hold and speak with the attorney so he could explain it to me. At this point I hung up. Just wondering if anyone else is getting these calls?

My problem is that all of the consolidation companies require at least 7-10,000 debt to provide assistance and then you have to be behind in your bills to be considered. Where do the people that pay their bills seek assistance? I can only pay the minimums because my husband lost his job last year. Is there anyone that can assist a person in this situation? Please advise. Thanks.

Hi, I have closed my account, and sent the ach revocation letters with my bank and the lenders. I did not give to my HR department, but will tomorrow. It includes the cancellation of any voluntary garnishment agreements. What is next? Next Wednesday will be the next time any of these payday lenders will try to take money from my account. I have not had a response on the ACH letters.

I received a call from Audubon Finicial on the behalf of Cashnet. I paid but now they won't send me a confirmation that I did. Every time I call an ask they give me excuses. What's should I do?

I apologize if this is in the wrong section. My fiancee is currently in default on two private student loans and I am her financial power of attorney. The collection agencies representing the loans, I assume, will eventually sue. Due to her current income, getting these loans into any sort of rehabilitation is not an option right now as it would compromise the other debts that I have brought current. My question is, should these or any other collections agency sue her for an outstanding debt, being her POA, would I be able to contact a lawyer and setup legal assistance in her place?

Hello - I recently received a "Combined Tax Statement for Year 2012" from FIA Card Services, based apparently in Greensboro, NC. This letter has Bank of America's logos all over it. The letter says "This statement reports 1099-C" Goes on to say I owe them a ton of money. I think part of this might be an old credit card debt from 5 years ago, that I tried to structure into manageable repayment, but could not and had not enough money to pay it off.

I have recieved a few calls from this collection agency, but they use local numbers, when I located info on them in the forum and a google search it says they are in PA. Can they mask their number to appear as a local number??? I have not read anything good about this collection agency. They are not reporting anything on my credit report nor have I have recieved any letters from this company.
