Well, without my knowledge my checking account has been closed :x Well, i have been speaking with them and just spoke with someone the other day and said everthing was going to be fine, i had a few overdrafts and caused my acct to go neg just over $100 :cry: and she asked when i could cover it. I informed her we had deposits going into out account through automatic deduct on fri(yesterday) and we just did our taxes wed and should have deposit in on the 30th and she said thats fine. Well yesterday morning came around and after the deposit, they closed our checking account!!!!

does cbr deal with the criditors for you? also who do they work for you or the creditors

I received a summons from Fulton Co. court house on 1/4/09. A person knocked on my door, he looked like a bum, confirmed my name and address, handed me a form and ran! The form was fron Frederick J Hanna and associates concerning a supposed "prior debt" from Bank One for $ 3900 USD. In talking with an attorney from pre-paid legal, they told me that I have 30 days to respond with a debt validation letter. My research has taken me to the fact that lvnv funding llc is not registered in the state of Ga.

My husband is in the process of beginning a rehab program with CA DCS for a defaulted student loan of 15K. While he is able to afford the monthly payments they have suggested of $200, they are bullying and almost forcing him for a "good faith payment" of almost $2000! He got them to come down from that a little bit by begging and pleading, but is this normal? How can we handle this? He's not running away, just trying to work out a rehab program. Thanks.

I have been calling Palisades like 10,000 times since it shows on my credit report that i have a judgement on them. But when i called them, they will just give me a number to call (which is AT&T) to settle my account. But i called at&t, they said i dont have a judgement on the account. So i called back palisades again, the next operator said i dont have any judgement.. They are really confusing... I dont have any time for this crap since i'm time pressured on getting a home loan. They cant give me a itemized letter stating that theres no judgement... :x :x

We got behind on several debts a few years ago. All companies were willing to work with us expect one debt was purchased by Mann Bracken and they are just absolute bullies! The debt originated in PA and is in my name only. We now live in NC. I received a civil summons for a written reply within 30 days. They have yet to validate the debt and the total is higher than what it should be so I will be filing that information with the court. What I would like to do is wait until the statue of limitations is up and then pay the total I originally had with the cc company in full.

Do you know if Bank of the West does check sweeps and if I have had an account with them for 14 years if I have showed up on chexsystems would they close my account if I have never had negative balanace or NSF?

Hello, I just wanted to pass along a little bit of helpful info. regarding PayDay One. I have had a loan with them for 3 months. I called and asked for a payment plan to pay the loan in full, but was told I would either have to make 2 more interest payments or let the loan default. I told them I didn't want to default, just set up payments but was told that was their policy. The next day I sent an email revoking my ACH authorization and making an offer to pay the loan in full with 5 payments and stated the amount of my current principal balance plus the interest up to that date.
