I own a newconstruction biss.4 years new,everything going good untell the the housing market took a turn for the worst,been doing my best to hang-on to everything I worked so hard for,but fear the worst. Hello I'm not exactly sure where I should have put this, but since the issue at hand is debt management, I figured I'd put it here. Sorry if this is the wrong place. here's the back story. Last month, my girlfriends father had a stroke, and has since been in a coma. Aside from the slew of other issue's that have arisen from this, my girlfriend has been looking into trying to get her school, credit card, and car debt in a more manageable position. Right now, her car is solely under her fathers name.

I found them on my Credit Report Today. It looks like they bought my WAMU debt because the WAMU Says charged off and has a 0 balance owed. LVNV Funding state that I owe roughly 16000. Where do I send a DV letter. My Credit Report says their address is PO BOX 10584 Greenville, SC 296030584 Should I send it there? Thanks

So I recieved this email that I thought it was kind of funny. Not only is it a settlement offer on a $200 loan but they want to do my income tax returns.

Zennth Acq. Cor keeps calling me to try to collect a debt from my ex-husband. I have told them several times that we have been divorced for over 3 years. Then they rudely ask if I can get a message to him. I tell them no, then the guy on the phone says "you can't get a message to him?" in a cocky, snide way. Then he told me that I was "a real piece of work". How can I report their unprofessional practices to someone that can actually do something about it?

Hi, just sw an attorney here in Houston who could lower my debt from 55k to 26+ including their fees. He said he usually gets a 60% drop on balances, sometimes more but that's what they negotiate first. This sounds great but my question is this: I told him I wanted "Paid" or "Paid as agreed" on my credit reports instead of "collections" or "settled for less". He said it would be "settled for less" according to law and can only get "paid" if the account is paid in full and not payment arrangments.

I sent out 7 DV Letters and got the green confirmation forms. I also received a response from 2 of CA's. 1) CA for Verizon: They sent copies of my old phone bills. They did not confirm their license to collect or a signed contract with my signature. 2) CA for Apartment: They sent me a copy of my application and a breakdown of the charges. I left the apartment after 12 months of leasing and did not break my contract I was not aware that I had to give notice before I left. This is where the charges stem from.

I just recieved a settlement offer from HSBC for 30% off my original debt owed. Should I accept this or wait out for better offer. They said I have until the 27th to accept offer or it will go to collections and blah,blah,blah.
