I spoke with Langhorne last week and I'm considering using them to help me with my pdl's. I would love some feedback on this company and I would also like to know if the harassing calls stopped once you went with this company. They told me that I might receive them for a little while but they would stop after they receive the paperwork and phone calls from Langhorne. Is this true?

We are ages 66, 55...with a child age 13. We have about $60,000 in credit cared debt + a mortgage and line of credit. We are renting out the home/ renter cannot pay/ we have no equity anyway... My husband is a disabled Vietnam vet and cannot deal with the situation. I guess I will need a company to help me negotiate. I recv a letter from the NJ State Depart of Banking and Insurance informing me they are investigating my complaint. It could take up to 90 days.. should I fax a copy of the letter to Integrity to be on the safe side?

Hi there I was wondering if anyone knows that if you are able to still get your tax retrun after you file a chapter 7. I was discharged in Sept adn I didn't owe government anything. I live in IL but cant find any info about it.

I was at the court house yesterday because I want to have my case dismissed. I went to the clerk's office and the girl told me that a lawyer has to do that. I told her I wanted to file a motion to have my case dismissed and she told me I couldn't do it. Does anyone know if that is true?

Has anyone heard of Express Money Center? I received a collection notice via mail from A&S collections Associates, Inc. They have a PO box in VT and a physical address in AZ listed. I have never heard of either one. The notice from A&S said that money owed is to Express Money CTR.

After making myself aware of the accounting aspects of a charge off from the creditors perspective I am left wondering if I might have some leverage to bargain a settlement. First what portion of the debt is the creditor allowed to charge off. The actual amount loaned minus funds collected (i.e. the creditors debt liability) or/ liability including charges, Fee's. etc. Next If that account has fee's etc.
