I’m so glad I found this site. I’ve been in PDL misery for months now and I’ve decide this is a new year and I need to start it out right by getting out of this hell I’ve created for myself. I look back and can’t believe I’ve gotten so far deep in trouble that I can’t find my way out. I’ve been taking out loans to help pay interest on loans I already have out. It’s a cycle that has gotten beyond my control.

Hi all, new here and thankful that I am able to read all these helpful posts! I have so much information now that I feel confident a rehab is the way to go to fix my default. I received notice from DOE that Premier Credit would be assigned to my default. For the past week we have been receiving calls from PC - from spoofed #'s and even one from my own cellphone #. The message is always how a "friend or relative has listed you as a reference for XYZ" I have researched this and these calls seem to be the way that PC obtains information to collect on the defaulted loans.

Hello All, First of all I just want to say that this site is one of the best for all types of financial information. January of 2008, I was served with a complaint of a debt that I allegedly owed to LVNV funding (Washington Mutual/Providian) for about $4500. I filed a response to the court in a timely manner which stated I had no knowledge, etc. I joined an e-mail list with the court that sends out weekly updates on upcoming court dates, etc. From that I learned that we had a court date of September 15th, 2008.

and a bill collector is trying to collect a bill that i show was paid off in 1999 but they say it was 2004 what can i do?
