My sister currently has her wages garnished due to a medical bill. She has given her two weeks notice and is due to receive a bonus that is due to be paid out in February. Will they garnish the bonus pay at that time since she won't be employed there anymore. Her last day of work is Jan. 20th.?

Okay I have a studpid question, is the only way I can find out if I have an open payday loan out with Money and More out of Flordia (I am in Nebraska) is to call them. I hate the fact I would be talking to them on the phone. I want nothing to do with payday loan people anymore! The loan was for $255.00 payment of $300.00 and I took it out in June. Any thoughts? :?:

I have replilyed to the summons and sent a Validation letter.Also filled this with court. levy signed for this 12/23.. today they called according to caller ID. This is a cc I think..not sure its legit. Does Levy have to provide the burden of proof? Court date 1/13/09. This is a Small claims state of Ohio

Hi, I have just finished rehabbing a pack of defaulted student loans that were being held by the department of ed. I even got a letter from the Ford program the other day letting me know that they had been consolidated! Very exciting. My sense of accomplishment was very short lived, however. I got a call from a CA called ICR today letting me know that they were holding two, apparently additional, defaulted Perkins loans that needed to be attended to very quickly or I would have my wages garnished. I didn't even know these loans were still outstanding.

I have a loan with Centurion. I've paid 1200 for a 500 loan. I sent the letter stating that they were not legal in AL. Got an email today from Customer Service. She said with an internet PDL they don't have to abide by state law. She said she could offer me a settlement of half the principal - $250.00 I've already paid 1200....she said those were just loan fees. I told her that the State of AL code says that only 1 rollover is allowed. The loan is scheduled to rollover tomorrow...my account is closed. It will go to collections..... what should I do?

Is this too much to ask from a CA in the form of debt validation? I don't expect to recieve anything from them but at least I can show the court that I tried, right? HELP! IDK! .......... The summons, delivered to me on January 2, 2009, was the first notification given to me from .... So I am writing to request that you provide validation for this debt.

Has anyone gotten totally out of the payday loan hell? I have like 8 internet loans out, I am not sure how that happened, but it did, been paying on all since June. One has given me a PIF letter will I ever get totally out of this mess?

How to become debt free in life totally?

I had a check returned for NSF only because my deposit had not posted in time (couple of hours). What happens now? Will it automatically be resubmitted in a 2nd attempt or not?
