We got served today (Saturday) and have 20 days to respond in writing to the attorney that has our case. I need a sample of a letter to answer the summons. My husband has been talking to Chase (the lender) and they told him that he qualified for the loan modification plan, and now we get served with the summons. We are totally lost and do not know where to find a sample letter to respond to the attorney.

I am a Georgia resident I obtained a payday loan at a store in Alabama (the money store) they nsf'd my bank 3 times now threatining legal action, recieved summons from Alabama small claims court Are Georgia residents protected from out of state lenders if the loan was made in Alabama at a storefront?????? I have heard various opinions but need facts before I go to court, or dont go to court. Thanks.

I made my final EPP payment to them yesterday, it was the best Christmas present ever!!!!!!!! Of the 14 I started with I am down to 6 and have made epp arrangements with two of them. I have two payments left on both of them, that will put me down to 4. It feels good to be back in control of my finances. Happy New Year everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning.... I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I might find state laws for PA that deal with judgments and how they can be collected. I am going up agains WW&R and if a judgment is granted I need to make sure my bank account does not get effected. It is a joint account with my wife and the outstanding debt is with just myself. Hello! I'm in WA state and here is the situation. My mortgage resets and beginning from January I need to pay $600 more every month. I have about $40K on credit cards and really tired pay them off for about 8 years. This year I paid about $5K and another ~$37K still left. I didn't buy any stupid things, the story is common - loosing job, needed to pay to a lawyer, etc. From another hand I didn't miss any payments, my score about 700, I have a job, a small business and I can afford to pay minimum payment + ~$300 per month. What should I do?

Did anybody have any experience with this company? Is their debts consolidation service good?

Is it possible to consolidate my bills without my husbands knowledge?

I had a 50% offer from Chase but now they've said it is no longer valid. I'm 150 days late - did I screw up? Do you think they will call me again or was this a year-end deal?

I took out a payday loan with Check N Go about a year ago, and now i have a civil judgement by a company called Check Resolution Services. I received a letter in the mail and thought 'ok, just another collection agency', so i ignored it since checkngo didn't seem to care, but then i got served a summons and had to go to court over a $770 balance, which is now on my my credit report as a judgement. how can i get this removed? and how can this compay check resolution services do this to me?
