I have been working to settle my own debts after being ripped by Sifxpert. I recently was given a sum of money and used it to settle 4 of the 6 accounts that James didn't do. My last two, however, are being difficult and I wondered if anyone could help. I had three with Chase and settled two of them last week. The last one, the smallest amount of ANY we had (!), won't budge off of about 65% and I just don't have that left. They had offered 50% last July throught NES and I was a few hundred short then.

how do I get them to take the monthly payment I can afford

Can I send a DV letter to the original creditor even if I made arrangments on this outstanding account. They claim my balance is one amount and I have racked my brain and I don't understand how they are coming up with this figure. Also is there a certain DV letter you send to the original creditor?

Hello all, I received a summons through regular mail. I also received one of those little yellow slips saying I missed a certified letter. I'm guessing it was the summons again. I never went to the P.O. to pick it up. I live in NJ and cap one is being represented by a NJ firm (Lyons, Doughty & Veldhuis out of Mt. Laurel). I have 35 days to file an answer with the court ($15). There is no court date listed on the summons but the customer agreement/arbitration agreement is attached. The total amount I am being sued for is $809.41.

I recieved a notice from an attorney about a pending wage garnishment. They listed an account # on the papers, yet I dont see any court file numers or case numbers. How can I really be sure this is a lagitimate court paper ? Lastly, The last page of the doucument states "This is an attempt to collect a debt. Is this just a ploy from the attorney.

Hi I am in the loan disaster area, I went on a med this summer that really messed up my emotions and thinking process and now am trying to get out of the world of payday loans!

I applied for a payday loan online. I thought they would contact me for more info, but i never got the call, so i gave up on it and changed my mind. I didn't realize that geneva roth and loan shop put money into my account. I never used it because i didn't know it was there now they are constantly trying to get money from my account (ach). I put a stop payment on them both. But they are some how still getting through. They have me so overdrawn with overdraft and nsf fees i can't even close my account......,

I recently recieved a 300 dollar loan from usfastcash. I unfortunatly defaulted and now they want 510 today. I came on here and read that they are bullshit. What should I do now. I dont have the money to pay them at the moment.
