Hello, I need some serious help and fast. After swearing I would never get involved with pdl's again, I did. I have 4 or 5 of them right now and they are eating me alive. In October I fell on some real hard times and had to pull every penny I had from my account. The bank honored by PDL ACH's, but in November they were returned. Now they are calling me, my references and my employer. They are also threatening legal action. At first I was trying to work with them, but they are being unreasonable on the repayment terms.

As a corporate officer, do I have any personal liability for building and equipment leases? Also corporate credit cards?

Hi. I have eight pdls all acquired via internet. Some I have been paying for quite some time (Sagamore, Summit Group and Loan Point USA) so I am not actually sure how much I have paid in whole. I just need help in stopping this vicious cycle I would be open to making payment arrangments with each (no more interest attached, just working on paying down the principal) but they are usually unwilling to do this. I would appreciate any advice that could be provided.

Since the last 5 years, my family use only 2 credit cards. Suddently I received a LOFT Master card sent to us. We had never applied for any credid card since then. The LOFT cards are issued by World Financial Network National Bank. I called their number 1-866-886-1009 the answering machine says that if I wanted to cancel the new card just arrived (they know!) Why is it many people get out of $40,000 worth of debt on a single card because of SOL while others with $400 get their ass hammered and taken to court? I have always been in wonder about this! No, I am not bashing...just wondering! Is there a secret?

I was told that CA buy debts in "portfolio's" consisting of many people's debts. Once, the CA collects a certain ammount or % of that certain portfolio, they sell the remainder off or write it off. How true is this?

hi i have a questoion i have a payday loan from ACE CHECK CASHING FOR 400.00 i defaulted on it and i had closed my bank account for other reasons not due to the payday loan. i have has a total of 6 payloans that i think 5 i have defaulted on 3 store fronts and 2internet ones;the 3 store fronts are : EZ MONEY(490.00) ACE(400) AND PAYDAY ADVANCE(315.00)..and the 2 iunternet ones are speedy cash(500.0) and check n go(975.00).

Yesterday my Immediate Supervisor at my place of work received a phone call from an "Officer Adrick Maxom" claiming he was from USBI (United States Bureau Investigation) and that he was calling to inform that I was going to be arrested in 2 hours for criminal and civil activity, money laundering and bank fraud. He first spoke to the secretary, told her the same thing. The contact # he gave was 520-720-0825 and said he was located in AZ. I called him and "played along" to hear what he had to say.

My school filed bankruptcy in 2005 taking my money with them before I could finish my studies or get a diploma. Keybank wants me to pay the full loan which is over 100K. I tried negotiating with them to see if I could pay for the time I've studied only, but no luck. Any ideas please?
