Noticed the following on my truecredit today: Creditor Name: CBA Account No.: 1175**** Original Creditor: 10 AT T CALIFORNIA Responsibility: Individual Condition: Derogatory Original Balance: $179 Balance: $179 Date Opened: 06/06/2008 Date Reported: 09/22/2008 I called AT&T they only have me listed under my current wireless account, which is current - don't know what this is. I opened no other account this year. I filed a dispute with Transunion and Equifax both were "verfied" - this is not on my Experian. What is CBA? How can I dispute this?

I have just stumbled accross this site and was wondering what/who is legal for my PDL's - Eastside Lenders -Loan was $550 - paid $390 Nationwide - Loan was $600 -paid 780 ACH Loans - 200 -paid 275 SJM Marketing -300 -paid 270 I defaulted on these loans back in early November - the only ones bothering me are Eastside Lenders. I have an old bank account which I began to use after I closed my other account linked to these loans. Now I am wondering if they will begin to debit the account number I am using now, as I see they can sprout up in account numbers not listed with them.

 

What should I do? in debt and not much work

i've had to live off my credit cards for 5 years and around 30,000 in debt, I have not bought anything of substantial value, nothing to show for it. I have mental issues. I don't hold jobs long and have personality disorders. I paid off my citi bank card monthly for 4 years until 2003 when i went into this debt, at the time of transferring balances and getting these new cards I was under the treatment of a psychiatrist and would have never done this if it wasnt the medicines i was being treated with. i guess i declare BK? but how do you declare BK if you cant afford a lawyer?

 

Signature Links Not Allowed?

What is allowed? What is not? For about 6 months or so I have had a signature link to an article I wrote about getting out of the payday loan trap. I also have one to my website which is disabled at the moment due to my health issues. I just received a PM from Jason asking me to remove the signature link to the article. That article has had hundreds of hits from this site and has helped many people with their PDL situation. Is that not what we are here for? Other people have signature links that are helpful and relevant without any problem. What are the rules, if any?

Hi there I am having a bit of trouble. I took out some loans back in April and havnt been able to pay more then a couple of deferments on the following loans *Us Fast Cash loan amout 250 owe now 452 *Impact Cash owe them 375 (is willing to work with me) *3b financial - not sure of the balance *little loan shoppe - not sure of the balance (is willing to work with me) *Fast Money 911 - not sure of the balance *One Click Cash owe them 550 I dont know what to do I am having some financial problems right now and they dont look to be clearing up till around mid January Beginning of Feb.

Once again my short backstory, lived in Wisconsin most of my life but for the last 6 years I've lived in Ohio. My parents still live in Wisconsin. Today my mom tells me that she's had a letter in her possession for over a month from a lawfirm in Washington 'Weinstein & Riley' representing 'Dodeka LLC' and she faxed it to me Here's what the letter said Dear me : Quote:
Weinstein & Riley is national legal counsel for DODEKA, LLC, the owner of your credit card account with Chase Bank.

 

404-665-3166 - anybody familiar with this number?

I got a phone call from this women who said she was some kind of investigator of some case of mind and if I didn't know call by 5Pm she threatened legal action, Is anybody familar with this number?? Company, who are they??

Today I got a letter in the mail. It says essentially " Since you have not made payment arrangements, your account has been referred to our Legal Department for immediate review and action. if we do not hear from you within 15 days, we will be forced to commence legal action against your business and you personally. we really don't want that to happen." I have been to the advantahelps.com and explained that I cannot make a payment. it says on the letter that I can use that website to explore payment options, make an immediate payment and avoid legal action. I have no money. what do you think?

I had a very small medical collection of $38 on my credit. It was thru Contract Callers Inc. I offered to pay it via debit card and requested a paid in full letter and removal from credit bureau. They instructed me that they could not send out a PIF letter for at least 60 days. Something about I could protest the charge with my bank etc. Is this normal practice or should I call back and press them on the issue?
