does anyone know what this is: CATHERINE/TAPE REPORT it was on my credit report.

I defaulted on a credit card debt some years ago due to some financial issues, but I do not dispute the debt. If I had known more back then, I would have done something about this. :oops: They threatened me with a lawsuit if I didn't pay at first, so naturally, I started paying. After doing some research.. oi, I screwed up. I've been paying 100.00/month on an SS income of 659.00/month. I have a letter ready to send stating that I'm lowering it to 50/month, but in light of what I discovered the other day... I'm not so sure I should even be paying.

do you help with paday loan consilations too?

i have been a very busy lady with these pdl companies. as most of you who may have read my previous blog. I was and to some degree am still swimming in the deep end. BUt at least now I feel as though I'm treading water instead of drowning. Excuse the metaphor.

How will the debts be divided in a divorce? My spouse left me and I am disabled with no income and he has a very good job and has not supported me, when he left the debts have all piled up and he has not taken any responsibility. Could u tell me who will have to take most of the responsibility of the debts if I have no income and he does.

I need some help. I have payday loans out at 4 storefronts in Ohio and 2 online. I am wits end trying to get out of this cycle. The lenders are: Check-n-Go 800 Express Payday Advance 800 Express Cash Advance 1000 Advance America 500 (Online) ezpaydaycash.com 300 MagnumCash 1200 (made first payment around 500) I have been reading through blogs and threads here at DCC and am still just so overwhelmed. I don't even know where to start to get this under control. The fees are stopping me from getting some of my bills paid. This just can't happen anymore. Can someone please advise?

Okay, so far I have paid one loan off, however we took out a legit loan to do this with a monthly payment.

hello, if someone nice would have a moment to outline a few first steps I need to take in order to start dealing with my debt. In short: I checked my report first time ever and have only a few hundred of unpaid debt and need to know how to get rid of this from my credit history in a way it gets erased. The debt is from 2 different places, one from this year and the other from 2006.

Good Morning everyone! A few days ago, one of my pdl's called and again asked about the status of my bankruptcy, and what I was going to do about my check. For what seemed like the millionth time, I explained why I could not file bankruptcy, and, why I did not have the money to pay this loan. Then she said they'd turn it over to an attorney. I told her that criminal action was prohibited, which she knew. But then she said that I'd owe even more money then, and they'd garnish my wages.
