the company that I signed with wants 800.00 up front, then 1200.00 within the next few months?

Hey Folks, I'm still way stressed out about today. Here's whats keeping me up now: Now that the CA has a judgement against me, will they go after my checking account? I have a joint account with my wife. Again, I'm on SSDI but my wife works. I'm freaking out thinking they're going to take everything we get (and thats not much). From what I've read, the account is often frozen before you know it's happened. Help?

I really need help here. I been trying to fix my credit for some time now. Just recently i ssaw two hard inquiries from echo-dishnetwork. I never authorized that, nor even think about getting cable. Is there anything i can do?

Hello all, I just registered to this site today, and have been reading a lot of the great information posted here in the forums. Here is my story: I have had much unsecured credit debt throughout the years due to horrible credit management but have been able to reduce my debt. Back in early summer, I took advantage of Citibanks no interest balance transfer offers (no interest for one year, and 5 percent interest for the balance of the offer) I made the dumb mistake of missing my payment in August by a few days, and my interest skyrocketed to 28.99 percent.

I consolidated my undergrad and grad school loans in mid-1998, before the interest rates dropped so dramatically. I'm now "locked in" at 8.25% (the HIGHEST possible) and have been told there's no way I can get that rate reduced. Are there ANY options for rate reduction for me? I'm making payments monthly but am barely making a dent in this $44,000 total. Please help!!

My bank account got wiped out by a court ordered levy. I wasn't notified at all. I just happened to check my balance and I was surprised to find not even zero but it was a negative amount due to nsf fees. I want to know if there is even at least a little chance of getting maybe half of what they took and just pay the amount I owe in increments? It was a credit card company that got a court order to levy my bank account. :cry:

I am so torn I thought I would go with Debt Remedy Solutions BBB gives them a B- Then I thought I would go with CuraDebt which has a A rating but then someone said that their fees are high But how can you get better than a A? Also I have talked to Debt Remedy Solutions and signed some paperwork online and gave them information but have not sent them a voided check yet and the program is to start in Jan. but I think their fees are way to high I think i should withdrawal and look further
