Can someone recommend who to contact so I can consolidate my payday loans?

I was just served. It is an old BMA cc account, I think the last payment was made 12/2005. It says I need to "file a written answer to the court". Does any one here have or know where I can find in formation on how I write the letter. I have 10 days to send it in. I am unable to pay a Attorney and not sure I will qualify with legal aid. So I need to figure out as much as I can :-(

So my family and I got evicted. Well we moved before the people came to put our stuff on the yard. This was my landlords suggetion. Anyway two weeks later the sheirff is serving my job for wage garnishment. We did go to court and signed papers that we would have the money by a certain day or move. So my supervisor have not sent the papers to HR yet? What will happen to me if those papers dont get turned in? Can they hold my income tax? Can I lose my job? Can someone please help me? Deandrea

Now you can probably tell from my screen name that I make soap. It started off as a hobby that errr....got out of control. It is now my full time business. However you have to start somewhere. Do you have a make things, knit, sew, crochet? There is money to be made even in these hard economic times.....people are really looking to get back to basics. If you have a talent and havent tried selling it, look at etsy or ebay. On etsy people even sell baked goods.

Hey guys new to the forum but I have a question.I've taken out a payday loan with the cash store.I don't think i'm going to be able to pay it back or at least right now.What legal actions can they taake against me? The reason I ask is because I signed a post dated check to make repayment and i'm worried that might fall under the hot check law.Any advice?

Thanks unclewulf :) My debt began as I started school to become a web developer. Most of my free time up to the point I'd decided to be a web developer was spent tinkering around with computers - building, taking down, rebuilding, breaking them just to have a reason to upgrade, etc... I love to put them together and make them work. It further piqued my interest when I started getting into programming. I have a lot of fun programming because of the endless possibilities. So, I started on the course of web development at a large school known for its technology reputation.

So here is my story... I had a job making decent money with a trucking company, then they laid off about 200 employees in Nov. 2007. I had my own apartment my own car and blah blah blah. Needless to say, i was freaking out. The economy was already horrible that finding a place that was actually hiring ( short of fast food) was impossible. But i tried and tried and tried... Then February roles around...

why do I have a charge of $19.95 every month

I do not answer telephone calls from collection agencies, ever. So they leave a lengthy recording but don't say who they are or what debt it is about. Just to call a certain number. How do I find out who they are? If I know who they are, I can match that info up to the mail I get and see if I am already paying these people or not.
